I still haven’t discovered all the features on this watch but the ones I have used in the past 3 weeks has blown my mind.

Watch is super comfortable on the wrist. I literally wear it 24/7 except when I take a shower. (This watch is completely waterproof up to 100m so I don't have to take it off, but I'm like that)The reason I got a Garmin over something like an Apple Watch is because the Apple Watch thing is completely redundant with a phone at hand. The Garmin's offer a lot of features that my phone can't do in tough environments, like the topographic maps for example.Battery life is insane. They advertise 28 days but I find it to be slightly less with factory settings. Like 23-24 days which is still ridiculous. It's expensive yes, but the cost is a multi variant equation. Now here's hoping this will last me many years.

Wife gave to me as a fathers day present. Initially didn't think it was for me. But I have to say I've really come to like it.Lots of data. I thought the flashlight would never be used. Then I went offshore fishing in the dark one morning and don't you know I had to find something in cabin with no light. Except I had a handy watch flashlight. So it worked perfect.I am looking forward to pairing with my garmin alpha. I did pair it briefly to make sure it worked and it did. But bird hunting this fall will be the real test.If you could only have one watch. This one just might do it.

I really liked the build quality and the overall performance for the watch, it is very stylish and i like the idea that i bought so many different bands
Watch is beautiful, very resourceful but the music feature is bad. The connection to my blue tooth head phones from the tactix 7 was spotty. Watch was returned.
I am coming from a Fenix 5 watch to this. Love the lighter/thinner feel, better battery life, and improved tracking. The light is very handy. Only knock is it seems to have trouble syncing to the iPhone app at times. I like to see my sleep, body battery, and stress charts but sometimes it goes for days without showing that data.
I traded in my tactix charlie that up and died, which seems odd and the “fix” was to sell me another tactix… Honestly, I expected better treatment from Garmin. The tactix 7 is a BIG watch. If you have smaller wrists, it will seem a bit too large, which is why only 4 stars.. along with the poor replacement options that ended up being $800 with the added cost of a new band… the one it comes with is “ok”, but is pretty industrial looking and isn’t what I consider a daily wear band. Over all, it’s a solid watch, does a lot and has a great battery life… in reality is probably overkill unless you are a USAF PJ or other tier 1 SF operator.
The Garmin Tactix 7 standard is a beast of a watch/fitness device. I upgraded from my Fenix 6X Pro to gain the sapphire glass, extra battery life (6-8 days without solar) and the multi-band GPS for more accuracy on hikes and trail runs. This thing does not disappoint! Garmin makes the best products far and away; thank you Garmin for continually pushing the envelope on device capabilities!
- the construction is 5 stars - 4 star battery - about 14 days used only with 1-2 hours of physical activity daily and without active gps and without sop2 on, with night mode during sleep -3 star software - the 65 colors and 1 star to say, with indulgence
have had for about a month sleep part works great for me nice to keep up with hart beats and oxogen levels thanks Garmin great product
