Garnier Bb Cream Classic Light 50ml

I was really excited to try the new Garnier BB cream. First impressions were great! It’s really amazing to see a company focus on recycling & impact on the environment. The tube itself is is a combination of plastic & cardboard. It would be great to see them go s step further & get rid of the cardboard box entirely.The product itself is pretty impressive. I love that it has spf, even if it is only 15, it’s better than zero. It offers an impressive coverage and sits really nicely on the skin. I found a little bit of product really goes a long way. I love the coverage & the way it sits. It never felt Camry or heavy, it’s very lightweight which is exactly what you want from aBB cream. I was given the medium shade, which is my usual shade choice, however I found this to have a heavy orange undertone & difficult to blend into looking natural. I am really keen to try the lighter shade cause I did really like this product. I’m hoping they release a broader colour range in the future. For a product that offers so much coverage you really need a better colour match.Overall I’m really satisfied with the product & have already told my friends about it. Key nightlights would have to be the SPF, the coverage & also the use of better recyclable packaging.Thanks again BeautyCrew for introducing me to a great new product.

I was sent the shade light to review, in the past I have tried Garnier BB cream and wasn’t much of a fan. I did, in fact this like this one, which I’m very surprised about. To start: I have oily-normal skin, no acne just the occasional pimple and I would say I am have a very light cool skin tone. It applied beautifully, I just used my fingers, sometimes I find applying with fingers makes my skin look a bit bleugh and catches on any dry patches I might have but this wasn’t the case, this blended out really well just like a moisture would. It would be a no go for someone with very pale alabaster skin. It didn’t seem to oxides as the day went which is a plus. It did become very oily and shiny quite quickly, even after setting with a powder but for the most part, it lasted all day.This BB cream is excellent for a quick and easy application if your after a natural look or if your feeling lazy but still want some makeup. I would definitely recommend to my dry skin people as it does it a radiant glow throughout the day. For under $15, it’s an excellent choice for those on a budget.

I prefer to use foundation lightly to even out my skin tone and hide blemishes so I was super excited to try this BB cream.On first impressions, I liked the more “eco” packaging but found the artificial floral fragrance way too strong for me; whilst not unpleasant, it did linger for a long time.I’m a light-medium neutral complexion and got the medium but it was far too dark.The product itself is super hydrating as promised and applies on smoothly, however it still caked around my dry patches and it transferred very easily. Even after 3 hours on my combination skin in winter - it still transferred and by no means is I apply this heavy handedly.After testing it on and off over 3 weeks. Yay! Oh and moisturize your dry patches prior to applying the BB cream helps too.Pros: Hydrating, applies smoothly, natural looking coverage.Cons: Transfers very easily and highly perfumed.Note: The medium shade is suited to more olive complexions with a yellow undertone.This BB cream in the medium shade is perfect for someone:- with medium olive/warm skin tone- has normal skin (combination-dry skin requires extra prep before using)- looking for a hydrating “All-In-1 Perfector” with natural buildable coverage and doesn’t mind strong fragrances on your faceWould be a bonus if this product:- has SPF50+ (We’re in Australia after all)- is animal cruelty freeAll in all, I wasn’t impressed at first but found a way to continue using it and even like it. I’ll try the light shade next time though.
