Garnier makes a bunch of products that I love, but this is not one of them. The products key promises are that it completely removes makeup, it doesn't sting your eyes, and it doesn't require rinsing. I tried this product out using it to replace the first step in my two-step cleanse (instead of an oil cleanser) of an evening. On the first try it stung my eyes as I tried to remove my eyeshadow and mascara, and I needed three cotton rounds to remove my whole face. The second time I was wearing much less makeup, only tinted moisturiser, brow and lip products. I used this as a one-step cleanse, and found that I still had product coming off my face when I applied toner (this is not normally the case). Each time I used this cleanser, I had similar results, and never felt like my face was fully clean--though I was able to avoid any stinging eyes by using a lot less on each cotton round, instead of "soaking" it like the instructions recommend--and failing to remove all traces of makeup can severely irritate the skin. Overall, I would suggest giving this one a miss. There are plenty of good sensitive skin cleansers at this price point.

Since Garnier's Micellar Make up removers range is my favourite, I had to try that new addition to the family. I did not disappoint me but I have a slight impression that the original water in oil ( orange) is a tad more effective at removing eye make up. Nevertheless, Delicate eyes and skin is definitely gentle and does quite a great job removing make up. Some mascaras might be trickier to get rid off but I guess this is normal with any other make up remover. The plastic bottle is big but handy. We get 400ml of a product, which is great and lasts ages. All we have to do is to shake the bottle to mix the oil into the liquid and we are ready to go. The oil this time is blue in colour. I am glad there still is a slight scent to the product even though it is targeted ... MoreSince Garnier's Micellar Make up removers range is my favourite, I had to try that new addition to the family. As a contact lenses wearer I can agree that this make up remover is gentle enough and does not irritate the eyes. Once again Garnier releases a great product. Well done.

A really good product that smells AMAZING. I cannot describe how good it smells but trust me you'll love it. \nIn terms of doing its job, it really is a decent micellar water if you're into that. I haven't used micellar water in some time and this definitely held up to my usual cleansing oils, partly because of the oil component of it. It also took off my foundation really well and needed a bit of help with mascara but I do layer it on thick. \nAnother great thing about this is that it was not as harsh and drying as other micellar solutions, and the oil made it glide on easily without any pulling or rubbing of the skin. \n\nThe reason I'm not giving it 5 stars though, is double. This isn't a problem as I take my makeup off before my shower, but beware and be near a sink. \n\nOverall, it's not a bad product and you do get a HUGE quantity for a reasonable price. I would recommend it if you're used to cream cleansers but looking to change, if you like luxurious scents in your skincare routine or if you're after a micellar water that is a bit smoother and softer. Just remember to keep your eyes shut, and rinse! \n

I am an avid user of micellar water so I couldn’t wait to try Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil for delicate eyes and skin. I first noticed the distinct separation of the water and oil, and that easily combined after a little shake. The liquid dispenses nicely out of the bottle, not too quick, and you need very little to cover the whole make up pad. One pad was enough to remove almost all of my heavy make-up and I did not need to rub my face harshly, simply brush over it. My waterproof mascara was a little more stubborn, and needed to be held down on my eyes a little longer, however only a few wipes removed all of the mascara. As a contact wearer, I do find that sometimes remover can get into my eyes, but this product did not cause me any problems or irritations.\n \nAfter use, my skin felt clean. There was a feeling that I had product on my face but it wasn’t unpleasant, heavy or greasy, so I didn’t mind it. Other micellar water’s I have tried have left my skin feeling a little dry, so I was happy that this product left my skin feeling nourished and hydrated. It caused no irritation to my skin, not even around the eye area. I have found this product a little thicker than other micellar waters, most likely due to the oil it contains. This however was not something I did not like. \n \nPreviously, when removing my make up, I would use a micellar water to remove the foundation/blush from my face and then a separate make up remover for my eyes. Using this product has eliminated my need for 2 products, which is one of the main reasons I will be purchasing this product again. I recommend this product for those who want an all in one remover.\n

The Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil - Delicate Eyes and Skin comes in a super generous 400ml sized bottle and the packaging indicates this equates to 200 uses. For the retail price of $13.95 that is amazing value! The bottle is standard to other Garnier micellar waters and this one has a blue cap and also a thick film of blue oil sitting on the top of the water. You need to shake the bottle prior to using to mix the water and oil together.\nI found that the micellar water with oil has quite a strong floral scent which is pleasant but I would say borderline overbearing. The scent does last for quite a while too. I found that a little of the product went a long way on a cotton pad and wiping across my face. The scent does last for quite a while too. I found that a little of the product went a long way on a cotton pad and wiping across my face. As advertised you don’t need to rub with this micellar water to remove makeup and gentle wiping will work just as well.\nI found when I using the micellar water to remove eye makeup I had to leave the wet pad over my closed eye for a few seconds before wiping away to effectively remove the eye makeup. Unfortunately, one thing I didn’t like about this product is that it was irritating to my eyes on the few occasions I happened to get a little in one of my eyes. The micellar water didn't cause any irritation to my skin at all.\nThe micellar water did effectively remove all of my makeup and did cleanse my skin. I would probably be happy to go without a second cleanse after using this but I absolutely love to double cleanse. I think the micellar water did leave a slightly greasy feel to the skin which I didn’t overly enjoy.\nOverall I did really enjoy this product, but I don’t think it’s as great as the original OG Garnier Micellar water. I love that Garnier is being innovative and trying to come up with ways to make their products work even harder for their customers and to find quicker and easier solutions to removing makeup. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone for removing makeup, but more particularly to people who don’t really wear a lot of eye makeup. And at a ratio of $13.95 for 200 uses who wouldn’t be tempted to grab this one !!\n\n

This blue coloured water (cornflower theme here going on, as it is in the formula as an "extract") with micellars does work well in dissolving the dirt off the face: spf, makeup, city grime. Even though it claims that it can be left on after removing impurities off the skin, I highly recommend to remove it with second cleanse. It contains silicones (not oil, there is no oil in this formula) and if you want best absorption of your good skincare, removing all of this is necessary. Plus the water is perfumed and contains colouring. Did not irritate my skin though. Just did a good job in removing stuff off the skin and lashes. \n\nIngredients\nAQUA / WATER, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, ISOHEXADECANE, CENTAUREA CYANUS FLOWER WATER, POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, ARGININE, ... MoreThis blue coloured water (cornflower theme here going on, as it is in the formula as an "extract") with micellars does work well in dissolving the dirt off the face: spf, makeup, city grime. Just did a good job in removing stuff off the skin and lashes. \n\nIngredients\nAQUA / WATER, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, ISOHEXADECANE, CENTAUREA CYANUS FLOWER WATER, POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, ARGININE, COCO-BETAINE, POLOXAMER 184, DIPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, DISODIUM EDTA, PROPANEDIOL, CITRIC ACID, HEXYLENE GLYCOL, MYRTRIMONIUM BROMIDE, CI 60725 / VIOLET 2, CI 61565 / GREEN 6, LINALOOL, GERANIOL, LIMONENE, BENZYL ALCOHOL, BENZYL SALICYLATE, PARFUM / FRAGRANCE \n

I found using the new Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Delicate Eyes & Skin fast and effective to use. I am a qualified Beauty Therapist past and therefore very strongly believe in ALWAYS washing your face after Micellar water use as I don’t believe in not washing it off your face and that it removes every trace of make up, however in saying that Micellar water is my preference of make up removal. I do find some struggle to remove eye make up and also sting my eyes quite severely and cause my eyes to be in pain and water which is obviously undesired. I have tried several of the other Garnier Micellar waters in the past and I would have to say they are one of my preferred favorites. It defiantly removes the majority of traces. I will continue to use this product and I will be recommending it to my mum who particularly has very very sensitive skin and particularly eyes!

All in all the appearance of this product looks very cool, I like the blue colour and the oil and water combination looks great when it isn’t mixed.\n\nThe bottle says you should shake the product well and use it once it is combined. Personally I would rather just use a product that I didn’t have to shake every time.\n\nThe smell is very strong, and although I don’t mind the smell my body didn’t like it and I found I had a slight reaction to it. It’s hard to explain but has happened to me twice before with perfumes. Something about the smell gives me a headache / I don’t feel good from it.\n\nI tried to use this product several times, it removed the makeup well with a wipe, including waterproof mascara, as the instructions say to use a wipe. I was happy with the cleaning aspect of my skin. \n\nMy eyes however stung from the product being near them, even though it is for sensitive eyes. Because of this I would rinse my face with water after using it. I stopped using it as I kept having a reaction and for this reason I wouldn’t buy it again. \n\nI do think it is a good product though in terms of price, and how well it worked for removing makeup with a wipe. \n

This product does work, however I don’t think it works as well as the original Garnier Micellar water (normal to dry skin). So far no other micellar water I’ve tried has worked as well for me as the original, this one included. I don’t hate the scent of the delicate skin and eyes version but I think that it is quite strong and fragrant, so I think it may be an issue for those sensitive to scented products. I feel that the addition of oil actually hindered the performance as I found that it smeared my eye makeup everywhere and then I required another application to clean it up and take it off, whereas the original version only requires one cotton pad with the product on, to remove my mascara, without it smudging and spreading. Therefore I used more product, more cotton pads and I actually had to use more of the micellar water on the cotton pad than I normally would and I ended up with oily liquid in my eye, which didn’t sting but left me with blurry vision for a few minutes. The product did not irritate my skin or eyes at all. I do wear contact lenses and found that I had zero issues in regard to sensitivity. I probably won’t be continuing to purchase this product as I feel that the standard Garnier Micellar works the best for me, even though I have very dry and sensitive skin, it doesn’t effect my skin negatively.
