I was sent a bottle of the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Vitamin C for the purpose of review. The first thing I will say is this product isn't any good at getting makeup off. It also claims to be effective at removing eye makeup, but on the back of the bottle in the section marked "Caution" it clearly states not to get this product in your eyes. It's going to get in your eyes if you use it to try and remove eye makeup so, in my opinion, that's completely irresponsible marketing on their part. So forget using this as your main cleanser because it's not that good and forget that they tell you it gets off eye makeup because you shouldn't be putting it near your eyes. It really does have a purpose... just not the ones they mention on the bottle. To be fair, I fnd this to be true of most micellar cleansing waters.

At the end of the day or even as a freshen up throughout the day I simply squeeze some of the cleansing water to the eco pad then lightly swipe it over my face, eyes and mouth. This is a great cleansing water, I love garnier products and this was a winner for me. The vitamin c visibly brightened my skin and it looked less tired, it also leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. This cleansing water is really easy to use, I just applied a little on a pad and it removes all makeup, dirt and grime and leaves my skin feeling really fresh and clean and looking so much brighter. This is great value for money and I loved it so much I will be buying more. I highly recommend this product

The Micellar water is clear and has a light citrus scent to it which doesn't irritate my skin. I like to use this before I do my nightly skincare routine or in the mornings when I don't feel like cleansing my skin with a cleanser and water. I find that it thoroughly cleanses my skin leaving it soft and smooth. The cotton pad after use is slightly yellowed so that's how I can tell it works. Loved the face mask. Very relaxing. My skin felt really good after use. The cleanser was great. Cleaned your face beautifully. The serum was good. I have only used it for 2 weeks and, as yet, haven't seen a great deal of difference with the dark spots but early days. However my skin feels great. It looks clear, fresh and has a healthy sheen.

So it’s really a matter of making a mental note to add some type moisturizer after use. Anyway, I did notice and thought it was a nice kicker that the bottle is made of 30% recycle plastic. It’s nice they are taking into account the environment with there products. Really nice product, I’m willing to try their other Micellar waters to see if I can find the perfect fit for me. Highly recommend this one for those really looking to avoid additional hydration.

I love using the Garnier Micellar Vitamin C Cleansing Water first thing in the mornings before the gym and after work when I and pushed for time and don’t get to do a thorough cleanse this is my go to.I like to pair this with my Garnier reusable cotton pads. I flip the lid open and put some of the cleansing water on the pad the scent is really light and sweet with a hint of subtle citrus. The product glides onto my skin and almost at the same time as each sweep it absorbs it isn’t oily whatsoever and leaves no residue or film on my skin. The cleaning water leaves my skin feeling clean and visibly refreshed and ready to go. This is my favourite cleansing water and I recommend it.
