I got dye on my fingers and washed it off with handmade bar soap. 15 minutes later my fingers swelled and got a little numb. I washed well with regular hand soap twice and then soaked my hand in water with a little dish soap. My hand was fine, back to normal after 20 minutes. My scalp had no reactions.

This product is not what it used to be. I use this product every 4 weeks for touch up of gray hair new growth. I recently ordered new boxes. The boxes looked different, new model and stated updated look and richer color referencing the old look of the box previously ordered. Upon using the product for the first time, I noticed it was considerably thicker. End result was extremely disappointing as it did not cover the gray as the old formula had, leaving a discolored lighter streak along the part of my hair. My gray hairs noticeably returned sooner. Yes it is darker than the box looks, but all box dye makes your ends look darker after time, that's just the way it works. I only do my roots now, I don't have to pull it down to the ends. I have been consistent and only used this same shade every single time, and have amazing results. People still compliment my hair, it's shiny and very long now. I recently got highlights professionally and my hairstylist just told me to continue using this shade on my roots until I need new highlights. I’ve used Garnier Nutrisse #50 for 20 years to cover grey successfully. The new vegan formula is awful. The tube contents are too thick, making them difficult to squeeze out. It does not mix well with shaking. The consistency is too thick to come easily from the bottle, and often gets plugged by globs of the thick crème. The color is not the same as before because the formals doesn’t mix consistently and does not apply smoothly. It is also super dark, even though I leave it in for only 12 minutes, which works perfectly for the old product on my porous hair. I’ve tried the new formula again for 9 minutes. Still too dark.I will move to #60 and try it. But with the horrible new formula, I think I’ll be wasting my time. The same for Walmart pick up to store items. So now I'm going to local Walmarts in the area to grab the old version. I consistently receive compliments on my hair and am devastated as the new formula is not only a new consistency but entirely different color! The old formula had a very natural toner built in that took this color to a different level. It looked professional and NEVER over bleached. After using the new much thicker white only (no built-in toner) formula I could not understand why my hair had a very unnatural white bottled blonde look and did not come out beautifully conditioned by improving the porosity. It wasn’t the pretty plum color it always has been, but an orange freaky color. I don’t understand how anyone would think this orange color would make your hair burgundy. Two very different color groups. I put it on and as was mentioning in others testimonials, my scalp immediately turned this awful orange color. I left it on about 3 minutes and rinsed it out and shampooed it too. I was on an auto purchase, but I cancelled that and won’t be buying this product again if the formula stays Ultra whatever. I've been using Garnier Nutrisse hair color for 20 years, and have always been so pleased with how it works. It didn't damage my hair, it left my hair shiny and silky, and the colors were great. The new re-formulation is terrible. I gave it so many chances with so many different shades, and all made my hair a weird texture and almost orange/yellow. It didn't damage my hair, it left my hair shiny and silky, and the colors were great. The new re-formulation is terrible. I gave it so many chances with so many different shades, and all made my hair a weird texture and almost orange/yellow. I have used garneir nutrisse for about 15 years now and it was a great hair color thats why I kept buying it I orderd online my color 434 deep chestnut brown when i got it i noticed it said new ultra creme improved richer color and it had a new model on box the color looked quite a bit darker but i was still going to try it and just not leave it on as long...UNTILL I decided to read some reveiws on new formula. After reading many reviews I decided there was no way I was useing this people saying it turned their greys green or hair orange it was like a cheap box hair color and realy messed up their hair,hard to squeeze out of bottle or shake cause so thick and wasnt close to the color they use to use. Its hard to lighten your hair naturally without bleach and takes a while i know many years ago i used the medium golden brown till i decided to get the dark golden brown and it turned my hair almost black there was not much golden about it just changed cause the medium wasnt covering my greys very good anymore but you just cant go back to a lighter color and expect it to get lighter didnt work it took about 4 months useing natural stuff to lighten my hair to get it lighter again dont know if they changed the dark golden brown color to better one cause i never used it again. who cares i guess cause it looks like the garneir company really blew it and the majority of people will never use this new formula ultra cream ever again unless they change it back the way it was a verry good hair color cream and deep chestnut brown is a beautifull color....too bad ! I am sad and mad at the same time i am looking for another brand now there are alot of reveiws at target about the new product people also saying it didnt cover the greys verry good or little at all and more. To garnier nutrisse company; please bring back the original formula it was exellent!!!! people are calling this new formula GARBAGE and I believe them, theres just too many people conplaining about it Who wants their hair green or orange or a major different color they kept getting the same color for years because like myself they really liked it. I will be looking on and off too see if you have brought it back to the original stuff if so i will get it again along with Im sure thousands of other people unless they find a color in another brand they like also....garneir nutrisse company why did you ruin and change a exellent hair color? companys who try and save a penney always loose,but it looks like you tried to save more than a penney thats why if you dont change the formula back your probely going to go out of bussiness..
