Attracts moths of all shapes and sizes and then continues to zap none stop and fry them! Then actually doesn't kill them. The cracking sound it makes is very loud and annoying. Would not recommend this product!

DO NOT waste your money on this garbage! They burn through a bulb in about 2 months and the whole unit fails within 6 months. Got sick of buying bulbs and cleaning for them just to end failing.Had 3 of these and they were all total rubbish.I treated them with cotton gloves in out of any sort of weather and cleaned them at least once a week.Very poor product!

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. I've tried many things like having it high, having it low etc but our mozzies just don't seem that interested in it.Apart from this, it seems like a well put together product but it doesn't seem to do anything to our particular mozzies.

Bought a bigger unit hoping it would get more flies while kids and myself are outside. Currently been using it for the last 4 weeks. It works well, We having it hanging from the house eave.It works better it areas were the unit doesn't get direct sun, guessing flies and mosquito see the light better to get zapped.
Bought Saturday and worked will in the evening, but came to use on Monday evening and the UV light stopped working, so didn't attract the bugs. Would expect light to work for more than one evening, Don't feel like forking out $30 for a new light after only one use. Hopefully Bunnings will replace after only one night usage, great when it worked!
Unfortunately I am in great same boat as a few other reviewers where the zapper just stopped working after an hour. When turning it off and back on to try to get it to start again it would just do a little zap. I checked it for bugs to make sure nothing was stuck and it was still perfectly clean and as new. I will get a new one tomorrow and see if I have better luck. Sounds like they are good if you get a working unit haha.
apparently a fly isn't an insect because after 4 weeks the score is Power bill - $11 & flies - 0, a few harmless moths & few mosquitoes.Basically an unusual outdoor light - certainly not what was expected/promoted.Fly swatter better results & exercise .....dont waste your money!
Don't recommend. Mossies not the least bit interested and came nowhere near this device. Still got bitten. Returned for refund
I bought one of these on 17th January, the bulb blew on 10th April, both 2022. A replacement bulb is around $26. Asked bunnings how long should last, about 12months. Makes a very expensive zapper.
I bought this only a week ago and it’s going back tomorrow. We’ve used it twice and both times whole family had been eaten alive by mozzies. Not a question of distance either as tonight we were practically sitting on the thing. Utter rubbish. Disappointing by Bunnings too. Your old standards wouldn’t have seen you stock this.
