Great trackpad! A little outdated given that its from 2009/10 era Macs, but still works great! Follows all of my little shortcuts. I was tired of using a mouse after setting my macbook pro up to a monitor for my office. 50 bucks beats paying $130 for the new Magic Trackpad 2 from Apple! It shipped in discreet packaging, and even came with batteries for immediate use! It was delivered 10 minutes ago and I'm using it as I'm writing this review. Very happy with this purchase! :)

I've used a few Apple Magic Trackpads and this one I purchased used unfortunately has the bottom left spring kind of worn out as well as the rubber foots. Its still useful, but you have to click more in the bottom middle than bottom left. Also, I taped a few folded little pieces of paper on the bottom left pad to raise it up higher so that clicking might function a little better. If I get too sick of using this, I'll probably just buy new.

I am new to IMac, was always a Windows girl. I first bought the mouse, and it was a lot heavier than a microsoft mouse. Hard to get used to but I did. Had to lift it a lot to manoveur on screen. Its an early generation touch pad. It operates well and it also uses 2 AA batterie's. Over all it functions good. In the future I will upgrade to touch pad 2 .
I am a new Mac user, so I am still learning it. With regards to this Trackpad 2, it has a lot of great features and what I am able to use seems to work easily and effortlessly. The negative aspect is that Apple and a lot of the other big companies who have their specific products locked up, need to also start thinking about the needs of the disabled population and other individuals who can't access all the great features of these products. It's the 21st century and it's a shame that there are still individuals who can't use these wonderful features just because we fall into a minority group. Maybe Apple has other ways for disabled and others who otherwise can't access these features to use them through some special backdoor.

I just had to recharge it yesterday and I can't remember the last time I had to do that so it's been awhile. I lost 4 auctions for the 2nd generation trackpad. So, I bought a gently used 1st generation trackpad. The price was reasonable, and I can use my rechargeable batteries in it. This is SO much better than a mouse ! I use it on my sofa with my Mac Mini, and apple monitor. I now have a complete movie watching system, without a TV !
This product, Apple Magic Trackpad Wireless for imac and Macbook, was sold as "new"; but it arrived without any packaging, just stuffed in a mailing envelope with some bubble wrap; I ordered it because the batteries can be replaced; the newer model is just thrown away when the battery swells. I had one before and it worked well. This one sticks, so that I need to keep lifting it to unstick it. It works, but it doesn't work like new.
I recently acquired an Apple Magic Trackpad 2. It replaced my previous pad that came with my iMac. I like the original pad other than the constant demand to replace two AA batteries. I felt the battery life was too short and it was just so costly to keep feeding batteries. The Trackpad 2 charges from the same cord as my iPhone 6 so it's much more convenient to keep charged and cheaper than my older battery powered pad. The features are more inclusive and the options simply much more comprehensive. I won't go into them but it's a fully functional trackpad that adds to the convenience of my computer usage. I would recommend this unit to anyone albeit it's not a cheap date by any means. Since it's such an integral part of the computer operation along with a keyboard ...
