I bought this after losing my Leatherman. I thought it woulb be just as good and save some money. The thing is useless. The lock on the blades is super tight, I needed to use a Swiss Army Knife to release it... Real shame. Its is well built and all the tools are great, but you cant get them in and out. I paid a bit extra and got the real deal, A Leatherman Wingman for $20 more, the thing is perfect.

There are better multi-function tools out there, to be sure, but for the price (Under $30 with free shipping) this makes a very nice back-up tool. I purchased this to keep on my sailboat. I've dropped a few over the side, and losing a less-expensive tool hurts far less than sending a $100 dollar one to the bottom. The serrated blade is nice for cutting line, and does a clean job on high-tech synthetics. I would have given it five stars for the value, but the sheath is mediocre at best. One can get a much nicer leather or cordura sheath for less than seven bucks, so it's not a deal-breaker. However, the last Gerber I had came with a very nice quality sheath that lasted well over a decade, so I know they can do better.

I like the fact that the different tools are locked into place. Good sturdy tool. The sheath sucks.
Is this a glitch, a joke, or did i get ripped off? I I literally received a stick. i knew this multi-tool at this price was too good to be true. Customer support was is gunna send me another, hopefully i don't end up with 2 sticks.
This is a well built product. I like the locking mechanism on this model, which is why I decided on it. Great price for the quality.
Comfortable handle, but awkward to use, the blades & saw came dull. Scissor not useful for much either, did a poor job of cutting tape & paper. Very heavy, poor weight to usefulness ratio, I expected better from Gerber... This one is staying home.
A very well made tool, heavy duty made, easy to use for so many different needs, my husband loves it and the carry case for his belt to put it in is terrific so he has it whenever he needs it!!! great price and fast shipping as well
