So first off i want to mention that this bov is of excellent build quality and is worth the price tag. It offers features most bov's on the market lack. The venting bias ring can go full recirulation for maximum quietness, full atmosphere, (very loud and not recommended as the ecu will cause the engine to stumble and is not much louder than the 50/50 setting), or anything in between. At 50/50 it is pretty loud and keeps the ecu happy. You'll get the occasional pop or backfire at WOT shifts at this setting, which i dont mind No check engine lights from this valve, doesn't leak, and sounds beefy. When adjusting the spring preload, you don't want the valve opening with light revving at say, 2500rpm. It will cause the engine to stumble a bit because of it opening too ... The turbo induction whistle and bov sounds are even more obvious under normal driving and you don't have to get on the throttle to hear the valve release. 10/10 would recommend, especially with the SPT intake, which is an oem subaru option. Great sound Great Quality (2021 Subaru STI) This GFB respons is one of the best product out their. You have the option of doing this BOV full recirculating or 50/50. I haven’t had any issues with it nor any leaks doesn’t affect your car. No CEL. highly recommend Go Fast Bits Respons BOV. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been running the GFB BOV for a little over a year now and am still pleased with my purchase. Installation is a breeze. You literally take off the stock BOV and mount this one directly in it's place. Holds boost much better than the stock BOV and the sound is addicting. Being able to adjust the recirculation is a unique feature and mine is currently running 80/20 recirc. Make sure you watch some videos and do a little research on how to adjust/set the spring pre-load and you'll be good to go!

This BOV is perfect. You do not need a tune as long as you have minimal mods done. I have a 2020 STI with a Remark cat back exhaust (non resonated) and a Mishimito Performance Intake. With these mods, my car is experiencing increased airflow, therefore you do have to mess with the spring load adjustment to get your car to return to idle normally, unless your STI is completely OEM/Stock. Per GFB, the spring load is preset to engine idle vacuum. This product will provide the BOV sound desired, as well as some nice pops and bangs. This BOV will help eliminate any sort of rev hang as well.
Great quality BOV. High quality construction and packaging. Settings are easy to adjust and install took 15 mins. Sounds mostly stock until you hit high boost (depending on spring settings) then that whistle sound kicks in. Not a super loud whistle either. Very pleased.

Currently got mines set to 50/50 with the whistle trumpet, no backfires, no stalls, no low / shaky idle. Before installing it I'd suggest looking at the action when its set to full vent / full recirculate this way you can see how to actually set it, I've marked mines so I know when I'm 100% venting vs venting and recirculating , it also doesn't have to be exactly 50/50 you can set it more towards recirculate and a little bit to vent (as I said before installing it just check it out first)As the rest said get rid of that clamp because putting it back on was a pain. Some long needle nose pliers with a slight bend ... Very happy with the quality of the GFB. Fitment was great. I highly recommend the product! Only thing I will warn about is that you will more than likely have to have a cobb programmer or some other way to tune the vehicle after install. Even though in the GFB instructions it tells you can adjust it until it no longer backfires when you shift, but the only way my car didn't backfire is if the GFB was turned completely to recirculate. Which was fine for me because I was getting the car pro tuned on a Cobb accesport anyway. But Just wanted to let people know that.
I choose this bov for the option to choose how the air is released. 1 week in and I'm a happy user.Con: only thing I noticed was that it makes a small metal to metal noise when you are revving in low rpms. Like when I was adjusting the screw everytime I would tap the throttle to see the piston I would hear that shuttle slap noise. I watched the gofastbit YouTube video and I even heard the noise in the videos. I just hate extra nosies, but love the bov.
