When I first received the duet blowdry I was a little skeptical that it would offer me anything more than a hairdryer and a round brush does. This skepticism was definitely misplaced. The duet blowdry makes my hair look shiny, healthy and perfectly styled. She, too, has commented that she is able to style her hair quickly and the result is salon quality. She feels her hair has more shape, texture and shine to it as a result of using this tool, and it is so easy to use.Really cannot recommend this product enough, it is a true game changer.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this brush :) I'm very happy with it and I love that they include a carrying case for this as well as a small little brush/pick tool to help clean the bristles off.Just like all other ghd products, it's a great investment because you do get such a quality piece of hair tool that you know will last you years. I'm still using the platinum styler I bought from ghd a decade ago and it's still going strong.I've actually been using this brush daily because I love the results it gives me. It took me roughly 10 minutes for my hair to completely dry using this product. My hair looked healthy with an added shine as well as feeling wonderfully soft and smooth!The only downside of this product is the location of the on/off switch. As I was using the duet blowdry, the placement of my hands kept turning it off as I moved the brush underneath each section of hair in a downwards motion. It was a little annoying but I experimented placing my hands on different areas of the handle to minimise this from happening.Overall, I am absolutely delighted with the results from using the duet blowdry and I highly recommend this product.

After this hair is divided into sections the side of the barrel, which again is very quick as the barrel is extremely large making it light work to cope with larger sections of hair.The hair glides effortlessly through the bristles and there was no pulling or discomfort, furthermore, the temperature of the brush is hot enough to give the desired results but doesnāt feel too hot so you have faith that it is not burning or damaging hair in anyway.The sections were brushed through using the product with rolling towards the end to create more volume, I only had to use the brush a couple times on each section before it was completely dried and gave a lovely blow out look.The product is slightly loud, however as a drying brush you would expect this and is still quieter than most traditional hairdryers. One slightly discomfort I had was after a while my hands began to ache due to the side of the handle, which is larger than other ghd products due to its motor being located within it, although I do have hands on the smaller side so wouldnāt imagine this would be too common. For how long the whole process took, and I have no doubt it would be even quicker with more experience this was such a minor issue which did not affect my enjoyment of the product at all.Afterwards my hair felt soft, shiny, smelt great and not burnt at all and most importantly had great volume and a salon looking blow out.Iām blown away by this product and canāt wait to see how much better my blow outs get with even more practice.

This is going to be the tool I take with me when I travel and use daily too!Design: The handle is so nice to grip and hold on to. The weight is perfect. The bristles are great for my coarse, thick, Indian, wavy hair. There are only two things I would change in the next gen of the duet: 1) make it dual voltage please 2) the location of the Ghd logo name plate because my hair would get caught in it especially when I wrapped my hair around the brush.I absolutely love the GHD Duet blow dryer brush and find myself reaching for it more than the other brand. My arms arenāt sore after using it and my scalp is so happy the heat isnāt sizzling. It leaves my hair looking healthy, soft, shiny and silky. I had to run through each section several times to get it completely dry before moving on to the next. Overall Iād say it took me around 25 mins from start to finish, about the same as my normal blowdry. Quieter than my hairdryer and no yellowing of my natural white hair as it works at a low temperature.Final result was a beautifully sleek wavy blowdry with loads of volume, lots of movement and best of all no frizz and very few flyaways. Iām pretty speechless with the results and finally a wet to dry styler perfect for my hair type.. I wasnāt sure if my first result was pure fluke so Iāve made sure Iāve used it a few times before writing this review and Iāve got the same result every time, a professional looking smooth, frizz free blowdry in less time than my normal styling routine as I donāt need to smooth with additional heated styling tools and it also keeps its shape and volume until the next wash.The heat protecter mat/bag is really useful for when you need to put it down to take a new section and also makes storage really easy and the little brush to remove any loose strands caught up in the barrel is also great for cleaning your hairbrush.If I had one criticism it would be the instruction leaflet, it is very basic and although the duet blowdry is really easy to use Iād have liked to have had a few more styling tips rather than having to go online to search.In conclusion if you are looking for that big salon blow out with a smooth shiny finish you wonāt be disappointed. This is the first time Iāve ever looked at the end result and had a WOW moment with such little effort to achieve. This is definitely my new best friend and Iād hate to be without it now.

After each use, I looked at the blowdry and noticed very minimal hair left in the bristles - HUGE bonus in my book as I would lose lots of hair from tugging while using other brands. They even provide a small comb inside the heat-resistant bag to help clean out any remaining hair in the brush. Donāt forget to use the bag as a mat for any surfaces or when youāre done using the tool. As for the item itself, I enjoy the swivel feature of the cord to allow for easier handling. I did notice the cord length is around 103inches/8.5feet which is great for those who are taller or donāt have a plug close by. Something to note is that the silver part of the tool that has āghdā on it will get very hot and my finger did slip onto it a few times. Not a huge problem for me as I was able to adjust my grip and still effectively style my hair. Another thing to note is that it does feel slightly heavier than other tools I have used in the past. In my experience it was not a problem as I could style my hair in less than 15 minutes, but something I felt was worthwhile to mention for those that may need longer to style their hair. One last important thing to mention is that there is a āsleep modeā on this product so in the event that you forget to turn off the power switch, it will automatically turn off in 30 minutes of inactivity or after 60 minutes of continuous use.
