Giantz 14 Drawers Mechanic Tool Box Storage Cabinet Chest Garage Trolley Toolbox

The tool chest arrived pretty quickly. I agree with other reviews as far a it being great for storage as long as you don't want to drag it all over the place as it is a bit flimsy. It is as expected from reading reviews. Hubby happy as he can now store all his tools in one place and this didn't break the bank.

The unit is much smaller than the picture indicates. But it does the job and like it is in 2 pieces that can be uses seperately or together

Great tool box. A little smaller than I expected but it fits all my tools in. Well worth the money. Great people to deal with & arrived ahead of schedule.

I feel the quality of the product for the price was quite good. Unfortunately it did arrive with a dent due to something that must have happened to the package in transit. It luckly did not affect the function of the product. Not the fault of the manufacturer. But in saying that after sending them a message upon its arrival with picture I was givin a discount of 79.50 on the price. I could have returned it for a full refund but decided not to do that.

Cheap and Nasty

1 - Two small lid hinges and side hinge brackets held together with rivets and only 4 in total. look closely at the photos 2 - Drawers are NOT sturdy and do not slide smoothly - they grind on the way in and out. Note that the slide tracks do not have bearings 3 - fully lockable? yes but robust? No. 4 - industrial quality castor wheels with brake is definitely NOT 'industrial quality'. The brake works by flexing/bending in the actual castor wheel bracket into the side of the wheel. not ideal when storing heavy tools. 5 - Looks like a 'mechanic' toolbox but would struggle to hold a mechanics tools. Economy product, good quality design and finish.

Well put together and designed. Could be made of stronger material perhaps. good value. Drawers on good sliders, castors good. A little bit of assembly required - screw casters and handle on. Good locking mechanism for top and bottom boxes. Different keys.

Good value

If your expecting high quality runners then you will be disappointed. But for the money, I can look past cheap runners. The drawers a bit short compared to my other better quality tool boxes but again, for the money I have made this work. If your looking for a cheap tool box that wont see daily use then this is perfect for the weekend handy man.

Great for home use

Over all good for home, easy to wheel about the garage.Frame could be thicker. With out tools, tends to move about while opening and closing drawers. Ok once weighted. Smooth drawer mechanism. Not industrial strength but suitable for home garage use. Excellent variety of drawer sizes.

You get what you pay for.

It is very inexpensive, so don't expect great quality. Found that the screws for the rollers fouled with the rollers when the supplied washers are used, so removed the washers. The whole thing is quite flimsy, but for the price and what I am using it for, ie a home user and not using it daily, it is OK.
