Giantz 2x1.8M Warehouse Shelving Garage Storage Racking Steel Metal Shelves

Ordered 2 shelves on 25/11, apparently they were shipped within Melbourne. 1st package arrives 9/12, box was damaged, open and dumped at the side of the house instead of under shelter at the front door. 2nd package arrives on the 20/12 nearly a month later. Ongoing complaint raised with MyDeal who has refusing to refund the purchase. Never ever buy anything from these shonky operators!!! Lesson learnt.

Good value for money. Fairly easy to assemble. I recommend getting a rubber mallet if you don't have one. Customer service is great! One of the shelves was damaged on arrival and it was replaced promptly when I informed the seller.

Excellent storage rack for my garage and I was able to assemble it all on my own. Its not super heavy duty like other garage storage racks but strong and sturdy enough for items I need stored and organised.

The product is well priced but the upwrights are a little flemsy. Stronger supports would make the product much better.

Well packed and well priced. Easy assembly (see youtube) needs only a rubber mallet (no screws, nuts, or bolts). Feels flimsy when you start to assemble, but the finished shelves are structurally solid. Very happy, and will probably purchase more.

Hello, I ordered these units of shelving in October 2021. They were installed a couple of weeks later into our rumpus room. Just recently, we were refilling the shelving and reorganising when we noticed a huge amount of mould growing all over the shelves. The more we looked, the more mould we saw, to the point that every single shelf was covered on the top and underside. We quickly decided to don safety masks and gloves and to get the toxic shelving out of the house. When we started removing the shelves, we noticed they were very heavy and absolutely sodden with moisture. Absolutely disgusting having to deal with this and to see that no sealing product was applied to the shelving as a basic safety and compliance standard. There is not a single shelf that is not affected. We are now seeking a safe way to dispose of them, due to their toxicity, not to mention we do not want to pay to dispose of them. There are 30 shelves in total. Photos are attached. Deals Direct, please advise what course of action we should pursue with regards to having properly sealed, replacement shelves, provided to us at no cost. Would you like the mould affected shelves returned to you at your expense? We are now left with metal frames which are of no use to us at all. Fast delivery, Easy Build, Light Weight & Poor Quality

I purchased two of these shelving units. The storage shelves themselves were easy to put together however for a shelf advertised as heavy duty I really feel they were cheap and flimsy. Not overly happy with the product itself but it works for the smaller things. I feel very mislead and unsatisfied with this shelving unit. The shelves are a very thin MDF balanced on very spaced apart braces.
