Excellent pump once the connections are sorted, unfortunately the accompanying instructions were not overly clear, it would have helped if the pump had directional arrows (water flow) or some sort of markings to assist in the connections of the controller and the (my) system. But as far as a pump goes, the water pressure is excellent and is very quiet when operating. Very happy with my purchase.

Should had bought this pump years ago. Got so much more pressure. Very happy with product. Would deal with again. Fast with postage as well. Comes in two packages. But was happy to wait for the second package.

As described, good quality pump. Excellent price compared to similar specs. Thought i had been duped because there were 2 packages, and the head unit arrived first. But then the body arrived and it all made sense. Heavy unit, great pressure. Quiet operation as well. Assembly is straight forward. Doesnt have all the adapters you might need. But I repurposed one off my old pump. Do recommend.

Gives a good pressure with very little noise. Only improvement I would like to see is a redesign of the pump mounting bracket. There is not enough room to get a ring spanner around the bolt and get it off again. Also the moulding around the bolt holes could be leveled off a bit as the rough casting tends to want to drive the bolt out of it's slot as you tighten it up, as the surface is not parallel to the base surface.
This is the second time I have bought this pump/controller. The first lasted over 10 years before failing. I use it to boost the pressure from town mains water and installed it with a pressure tank to stop water hammer. These pumps are easy to install and require no maintenance. They are great value for the price so I highly recommend them.
This pump was purched to use to feed my irragation system at home. It supplies my popup sprinkler system and other irragation lines to trees. I have 2 x 25,000 litre tanks that collect rainwater from large house and shed roof which feed pump. I have used the same pump on a client's system and it more than met the needs similar to my own. Well priced and sturdy pump.
Initially thought it was great, very high pressure worked when needed. Then it stopped, turns out it is an oversized worm type pump impersonating a wobble plate design. The flexible coupling connecting the motor to the worm broke. This rubber item that holds it all together is not up to the task, I can't see anyone getting a long life from this unit. For what it is the motor requires more torque and less rev's to even come close to being alright.
This is not a 5 stage pump.... it has no stages at all.... it is a progressive cavity pump. How do I know? well, after I plumbed it in and primed it, I ran it for less than 5 minutes by building up pressure until the cut-out switch cut in. Then turned on tap to release pressure until pump cuts back in......did this 3 times to check operation of pump and then it broke. Opened up pump to discover that it was in fact not a 5 stage pump but rather it was a progressive cavity pump, with a stator and a rotor, with the rubber mount that holds the rotor having seperated/broke away from the rotor. Whilst it was running, it had great pressure.... that is the only good thing about it.... WARNING: DO NOT BUY ONE WITHOUT CONFIRMING THAT YOU ARE TRULY GETTING A STAGED PUMP. not ... Bought the pump to fix to my outdoor water tank, so that it can be used to water the garden. It is a life saver during the Summer as you can save so much water. The pump has great pressure and does the job.
this is the second giantz pump i have purchased. the first one i bought as a trial. it supplies water to a heat exchanger and runs for about four and a half hours a day. it has been doing this for about two years with no maintenace or problems at all. very impressive. you can not buy a better value pump
