Excellent. Had a Hummingbird for 40 years until it was played to death. This one is for my son Ran. Watch this space!

I absolutely love the way this guitar looks and plays. I was a bit afraid that I wouldn't love it as much as my '64 J-45, but no problem... They both have their own voice.. This Rosewood Hummingbird really resonates and has incredible sustain. I find myself slowing down to let some of the tones develop instead of just going to the next phrase. This was the most I have ever paid for a guitar, but it is worth it. Great intonation up and down the neck and it is so beautiful, the first time I opened the case, I had to take a picture of it before I even took it out of the case and held it or strummed it. There is only one problem. I am a drummer and I haven't played my drums since the Hummingbird arrived. when I go out to my studio everyday, all I want to do is play the ... I bought this guitar based on reputation, I was not disappointed, just an awesome beautiful guitar, easy to play. Angelic sound.. No buzz. I pick it up more often than Martin or Taylor guitars I own. May need to sell some since I don't play then as often now that I have a hummingbird vintage.

This acoustic guitar is the pinnacle of acoustic guitars. Flawless craftsmanship from the world famous Gibson Custom Shop. Played and loved by top musicians world wide. Investment grade instrument.
Beautiful guitar. Sounds great, just as advertised. Very satisfied. Playing it everyday.
Good looking guitar and I thought it would have great sound. The pick guard is falling off and I can't get a response from Sam ash to tell me about their return policy or how to get it fixed. I have heard nothing.
Fully lives up to expectations
Outstanding !!!!!!I am so satisfied with this purchase. Out of the box Perfect set up. The guitar hums that mid range that has clarity but resonant and responsive. The mohagany back and sides give it the sustain and humm. The whole top vibrates . Unbelievable. One guitar for life yes
closets you can get to a gibson, its all ply wood though. gibsons solid wood top, that's why sounds better, BUT. The Lyle is also 24 3/4" scale like a Gibson which gives it the lower string tension. That's why it plays so easy. Its a inexpensive compliment to a great guitar.
