This is a solid board. No complaints from me. This board with a Ryzen 9 is the best!!!!

This is a pretty good board made great simply by it's price. It runs my mid level cpu with ease. It's well laid out for a mATX board and it's a beefy one. Lot's of heat protection, strong chokes, the works. All you need for a low"er" cost AM5 build. It's still a high price to pay for admission, but at least it got to this lower price point without sacrificing anything I can see. There is some coil whine, but I've only noticed it when running benchmarks and under extremally heavy load like AV1 encoding huge files. I like this all told and recommend it to all who want to get into the latest gen game without going completely broke.

This board is solid, and the documentation is good (on-line, not in the box). I saw this board recommended in a few cost-conscious gaming builds, but most people thought there was no real sacrifice for speed. I don't see any either.

Good board upgraded when they didn't have what I originally wanted. Some teething issues with Bios version and XMP not wanting to work with DDR5 6000 mhz ram
Have this paired with a 7600X in a Cooler Master Q300L. Have not heard any coil whine at all. Bios is very well laid out , as is all Aorus boards. Had an issue getting it to boot the first time. I overtightened the cpu block on the aio. Loosened it up and it booted immediately. Biis F4b resolved the initial slow boot times after installing windows 11. Boots to windows in about 15 seconds with a 980 Pro nvme. Excellent value for sff builds. Previously had a X670E Steel Legend that took several minutes to cold boot. Very happy with this board and AM5 now.
Pros:Well made, very solid build quality.Good price for AM5 at the time.Optical audio and lots of USB.Cons:Layout only provides 2 PCIe slots.Mild coil whine under certain loads.Susceptible to USB ground loops in audio systems.Sparkles on display when using iGPU, both HDMI and DP. Issue disappeared when using dGPU with identical cable and display setup.
Had absolutely no complaints on the functionally, offers great features for a low price. Unfortunately the coil whine is pretty bad even when just sitting idle on the desktop, under load it's even worse. Discovered many others having the same problem on this board too. Ended up returning this for the MSI mag mortar wifi, which still has some whine but much better than this.If your hearing isn't great or you always use headphones, this is a great board!
Includes tons of features that are usually hard to find on other 'budget' motherboards.
This has most of the features you'd expect of a high-end B650 board at a much lower price. The latest revision of this board has Intel WiFi 6E. It's worth having WiFi just for the included Bluetooth. The VRM is complete overkill and has a massive heat sink with a heat pipe weighing almost a pound. I couldn't get it past 60 degrees C even with an overclocked 7950X drawing ~190+A doing Prime95 small FFTs. It supports a gen 5 and a gen 4 M.2 drive. It has a ton of USB ports. There is a gen 4 x 4 PCIe slot with a thunderbolt header for USB4/TB4 support. There are 6 fan headers which is generous for an mATX board. There is noticeable coil whine, but only when running memory intensive synthetic benchmarks (AIDA 64 memory benchmark, Linpack Extreme, Prime 95 medium FFTs). ... MoreThis has most of the features you'd expect of a high-end B650 board at a much lower price. I've also heard it's a thing on higher-end AM5 boards, so spending more money on your motherboard might not help you here.
I'd recommend the board it works great. The "but" is Gigabytes lack of including all installation information in one place or even easy to find places. Being a first time builder I found having to search a variety of locations and documents on the web tedious and unnecessary. The tiny pamphlet that came in the package was useless. I've no problem with going to the net for imprinted directions. The issue with this is once you find the device manual it does not contain all of the necessary instructions. Look for referenced other websites. Check them out and get ready to do your own research.
