I've never bought a monitor before, setup was easy and I have no complaints about the display quality. However, I'm removing 2 eggs for the stupid blinking light that can light up a small room. When you turn off the monitor the power indicator light doesn't turn off, instead, it will start blinking. If this monitor is in a bedroom you will be very annoyed when trying to sleep. I hope Gigabyte releases a driver to help change the sleep light setting.

I just got my pc last year so Im new to the gaming scene. I wanted a nicer monitor since the one I had was free and much older then my pc. So with some help from knowledgeable friends I found this monitor that fit my budget, and the quality increase so I could game in higher definition. What better day then Black Friday weekend! I love it! Its perfect, for my needs only complaint I have is it doesnt come with speakers. The shipping was fast and Secure.

Im definitely going to recommend this monitor to anyone whos looking for an upgrade from a standard 60hz monitor, going from that to 165hz was mind blowing. I chose this monitor because it was an IPS display along with a high refresh rate. I find TN or VA displays far uglier looking than IPS, the colors on this monitor are great! I cant stop getting headshots in my games because Im able to see my enemies first, Im definitely using this monitor as my main gaming monitor from now on, I cant get over how much I love it! Just buy it already, you wont regret it.

I bought this monitor to replace an ASUS TUF Gaming VG24VQ I've owned for 3 weeks or so. This G24F monitor is leaps and bounds better than the ASUS one (and it's worth mentioning that the ASUS one is a VA panel). I'm using this monitor to work during the day, and then play at night and it has been working great for both scenarios. Colors are nice and bright, text is nice and crisp, and best of all NO BLURRY IMAGES. The stand is pretty solid and its height is adjustable, which is very nice. I've been testing the monitor by playing an assortment of games: Hades, Void Bstards, Halo MCC, Rocket League, SMB3, and Nier: Automata. I had played these games as well on the ASUS monitor. The G24F had none of these issues. I was even getting headaches while playing with the ASUS monitor, something I haven't experienced with the G24F. As mentioned in the Cons section, I did have to install a program and connect the monitor via USB to be able to change the settings because to me the controls and settings were almost impossible to set in the monitor. However, if you're into profiles and such, the software lets you set up different profiles and bind hotkeys to them if you want to switch between refresh, brightness, contrast, etc. Monitor came with an HDMI cable, a Display Port cable, and 3 different AC adapters (I'm guessing to cover the different plugs used around the world). I would not hesitate to buy another one of these if I ever need to either replace my second monitor or if one of my kids asks for a high refresh monitor. Very happy with my purchase.
Great monitor and for the price, you really get a bang for your buck! Some people reporting coil whine but Im not experiencing any on mine. Definitely would recommend this over others in its price range like the Asus Tuf. Definitely getting another as a secondary monitor too!
Amazing picture quality at 165Hz. Picture quality is sharp and color reproduction is amazing. However, even with tweaking and reducing brightness and other options, I shortly get the strangest headache. I don't recall having eyestrain/heachaches with monitors/TV's that I have except for using a Commodore CRT monitor (back in the 80's). I don't know exactly what the issue with this monitor but I can't use it.
This monitor is amazing. I love the high refresh rate first and foremost. The colours are deep and beautiful. Its the best one on the market rn. If youre considering it, get this monitor. Something weird about the one I was sent is it can output 4K? Its at 60hz but its actually 4K. Nowhere is the advertised, mentioned, or said. Ive looked everywhere and no one has reported this. In case it was a mistake by the manufacturer, dont expect it to come with anything other than 1080p in a buttery smooth 170hz. I dont know if comments are on Newegg but if they are lmk if youve had a similar experience. (I was able to change it in the windows system settings under the display tab)
Amazing picture quality, I am coming from a 32 inch 60hz tv to this 165hz monitor and it is a night and day difference! I would recommend this monitor to someone looking for an upgrade and it is a huge upgrade for me at least. It's made gaming a lot better now that I can see clearly, actually thought i needed glasses but it was just my old tv. Will keep updating if I have any issues.
My model came in faster than expected. Was not damaged during delivery either. Ive seen people saying things about coil whining. While I am using HDMI right now, I have never noticed issues with Display, even at 165hz, so your mileage may vary. Overall, definitely the best monitor available for the price, highly recommend it
This is a really great monitor. Smooth and works with my RTX Gsync. No coil whine as mentioned in other reviews. The only suggestion I have is that they should have a more easily accessible power button. I have ordered a 2nd monitor for my office computer.
