Quality! I was grateful to be able to secure a reference design card during this release. Unfortunately I missed out with the 6800XT a couple of years ago, however glad I procured the reference 7900XTX. This is a powerful card. It drives an UW 3440x1440 34" panel no troubles with High to Ultra settings in most current games without a sweat. Sure, RT is still a generation behind compared to the competition but they'll get there. I'm not really using RT on many titles.I am not going out of my way to OC this card for every day gaming, despite doing some 3D Mark benches with it early on. Furmark running in exclusive fullscreen 3440x1440, 8xMSAA for 30 mins showed 60º edge temp and 80º junc temp for the test, with the card slightly UV'd at 1140mV and the VRAM clock set ... MoreQuality! I don't have any hotspot issues whilst playing games either. As always, the customer service from the crew at Scorptec was fantastic. It's why I keep coming back.

This G card is epic beast in my opinion. It runs most of the games I play over 100fps even on highest details in 4k. Games like pubg, doom eternal, Hunt ect. Card keeps very cool on default fan speed around 75c+-. Depends on game. Its quite and sadly there was no games coming with it that was a let down. Please fix it next time. Or Scan please send me game voucher I know I deserve it.

GPU performs as expected but Gigabytes software is terrible and doesn't work. Check reddit others have had similar issues. Luckily AMD inhouse software allows you to change fan curves and change voltages etc. However, I was unable to customise the LED display which isn't the end of the world for me but may be for some. Default is rainbow display on the Gigabyte logo.

I was building a new set up and saw the prices of gpus more than doubled since last time I purchased one (gtx 1070), so when i was an open box deal in satisfactory condition for $825 I thought I might as well give it a shot. My card was listed as having a scratch on it, but when I opened it, it looked good as new. Installed quickly, I had some awful luck with drivers causing windows to crash, along with an error message, but I ran amds driver removal tool, along with display driver removal software, reinstalled and i have been happy with the performance ever since. I don't notice coil whine, but my case has 7 fans, with a more aggressive curve. Temperatures have been great, but the gigabyte software for controlling the RGB logo is hot garbage. Overall, if you're looking for 4k at a better price than a 4080 or 4090 I'd recommend this, 24GB of VRAM is nice to have for less optomized PC ports. The design of this specific card is pretty basic, which may or may not be appealing depending on if you have a preference for unicorn vomit levels of RGB. From what I've been able to research, ray tracing preformance is comparable to the 30 series of Nvidia GPUs, with RT enabled I get smooth performance in CyberPunk 2077. The Addrenalin software suit is pretty intuitive to use too. The card isn't egregious in size either. If you can get this below $900 I'd call it a no brainer at nearly half the cost of a 4090, and 3/4ths of the more comprable 4080.
The card is solidly built and runs very cool and quiet. This has been a nice upgrade from a 2070 Super so far everything has been running nice and smooth stutter free.Running a 48 inch LG Oled at 120 hz and runs well.I also found that VR games with my Index give better clarity both at 120 and 144 hz.Out of the box I found Steam Home in VR would run at 300-350 watts but after playing with a mild undervolt it will now runs around 150-250 at most with many games running lower.Overall very happy with this card
Best card i’ve ever had, I’ve been strictly a nivida rtx owner and I gotta say this card is amazing. If you have the chance to get it don’t sleep on it cause it is worth it. Stays cool on high demanding games and the fans are not loud at all.One last thing… Make sure your case can fit this card, although it’s a lot slimmer then other cards it’s pretty long. I had to remove my middle front fan for it to fit comfortably and I have a large tower.
In terms of performance it's amazing even ray tracing was respectable considering that's mostly nvidias thing, driver issues are a problem though, not crippling but definitely annoying, not what you want on an expensive piece of hardware like this. Obviously fixable though, just hope they are fixed.
Once I got the drivers installed from AMD...Runs cooler then my previous 6800 XT ! Great combo with the 5800X3D CPU. Running games only hitting 60c ... More than pleased. I'm impressed at this price point! Considered 4090, but for a little bit more of performance their prices I can't justify.
I was going to leave a 4 star, but the value here, if you can find a deal, is unbeatable. The issues: The card is long. Forget small cases unless they are much longer than some full atx cases. I have a Corsair Air 540 cube case. I had to move my AIO Corsair to the top and mount the bottom front fan on the outside of the case just to get the card to fit. The second issue the little stablizer metal piece to stop the card from sagging. That just flat out didn't fit in my case, I had to cut an inch off of it so it would fit, and remember that's with that front fan mounted on the outside of the case.Drivers are sensitive. Get DDU and run it in Safe mode. Then install amd drivers. That was it.The goods: Runs games fast. 4k 120hz LG OLED. Currently using a 5600x.
Abhorrent performance compared to even a 2080ti, especially for VR and half of the modern titles out there. It's worth shelling out the extra $200 for an Nvidia 4080, you'll get a product that actually works and performs as expected.
