Finding a Low Profile gpu that has some grunt is tough to come by. As much hate as there is for the RTX 4060, I just want to focus on the positives of this thing because it CAN be impressive when used in the right circumstances.1. This is the form factor that makes the most sense for the 4060- even with the tiny cooler on it, it doesn't exceed mid 60s for temps. Hotspot doesn't even get to 80. Fans are surprisingly quiet too.2. The most comparable half height gpu to this is an RTX A2000 6gb (yeah, a 12gb exists but it is much more $). The 4060 is consistently faster by 90% while gaming before applying upscaling. Small con- yeah it requires an 8 pin connector but adapters exist and even the most basic PSUs have at least one of these connectors.3. DLSS. There are some hardcore peeps out there that don't like it but this is actually why I got this gpu- I wanted to see just how well it can work using this tech; upscaling and frame generation aren't considered "real" to purists but it is super cool to experience. I have a big boy gpu too but I'm finding the 4060 more interesting because it can run games that it really has no business running.4. Dont' believe all the reviews saying the 4060 is strictly for 1080p. I've been using it at 1440p well above 60 fps, again sometimes DLSS is needed but I don't mind that at all- other times it isn't even needed! All in all, it is very impressive given its specs but it isn't my only gpu either. I've found myself using this little guy and not missing my more powerful rig too much, so that says a lot!Recommend.
