So far I’m happy with it. Matched my white and black build, runs quiet, got it overclock to just above 3ghz. I play in 4k and most of the game I play is single player. this by far better more efficient than the last 2 AMD gpu I had (6900xt 7900xt). Not a good in price…. But this is what we have to pay now to get good performance. 💯% recommend it if you got the $$.

Stays nice and cooler than my 3080 asus tuff about 10 degrees when playing warzone. The gigabyte stays about 62 degrees in a li lian 11 evo case. Just wish the metal top plate was also white. Also Getting about 170 fps in warzone on 2k and 240 in multiplayer on normal settings.

Literally left work early to drive an hour and a half to pick this up. Just recently bought a white 5000d just for the 4080 and happen to see the white aero oc.I'm thrilled to finally be able to utilize my 4k monitor to its full potential. Coming from a 2080super, which I did love, the difference is night and day. I play the total war series alot and being able to play warhammer 3 with everything maxed out and several mods to improve textures, I can play 4k with very few drops ever reaching 55 fps. Dated example but skyrim extremely molded with 4k is beautiful and runs flawlessly. So far the only time I reached Temps above 55 and never over 60 was when benchmarking. My only complaint is unless you have a gigantic overly wide case, I thought the 5000d was ... MoreLiterally left work early to drive an hour and a half to pick this up. I've seen that the bend near the plug to gpu is the problem spot for melting cables and with my case it was right on the edge of comfortability.Overall I'd recommend over and over again. Worth the price to me because it meets everything I'd hope it would and then some where I've never had that before.

It's a graphics powerhouse. Needs 850watt PSU minimum. Put on a Asrock Taichi with a Ryzen 9 CPU. Must update the firmware on the Asrock and make sure all power connectors are made. I also had to reroute my liquid cooling system since the graphics card is massive and runs the full length of the PC. I was lucky to have it available and in stock right before Christmas. Also great to have a graphics card that matched the white in the PC case. Never got Gigabyte to respond to my tech request but was able to fix the no video problem I had when it was first plugged in. Found I had a bad connector on my PSU and ended up using a different connection point.
This card is MASSIVE. I have a Lian Li O11 dynamic evo and it probably wouldn't have fit if I didn't mount it vertically. However, huge cooler means low noise. I can't even hear it over my case fans under load and it's boosting to almost 3ghz.I would have preferred to go with a 4090 but they are out of stock or over 2 grand and at that price the 4080 makes more sense for me.
You guys wanted an all white build too.So here we are...$1300 laterDO YOUR RESEARCH! -on what your pc configuration will be; and whether or not this card will fit in your case. Vertical mounting is an option but that will present you with some new potential problems. The power cable splitter is a P.I.A to work with. Check out CableMods 90 or 180 angle adapter seen in my picture.
Got this card today replacing my 3080ti fe after year and a half gaming in 4k, this 4080 is like 10 degrees colder playing cyberpunk 2077 for 1 hour, specialy memory is cold about 65 degrees compare to 3080ti fe which is 90 degrees, if you buying this card for COD WarZone DONT !!! No difference in 4k because game is not optimized well all other COD you will see huge difference! Feets easy in CorsAir 4000D which is CorsAir 4000X if you want to by with iCue and fans. Not much else to say !
Maxes out cyberpunk ray tracing @4k 60fps which is basically what I wanted it for, so far that has been the only game to heat it up enough to even activate the fans so the cooling system seems very effective.I run three massive monitors and this thing has no issues.4 full bay card. THIS THING IS HUGE. Only complaint is the size, had to remove a nvme drive I was using in my pciex4 slot to make it fit.
My first Gigabyte card and it is gorgeous! I noticed some of their other cards look and feel like cheap plastic. This one is definitely made of premium materials. The metal backplate is rock solid and sleek. The material around the fans are durable and solid as well. The RGB is a little underwhelming but still nice! The card overall still looks great with my white case.As far as performance goes, I had a 4080 FE before this one that I sold. I managed to get a slightly higher graphics score on Time Spy with the Aero. It was literally 1% difference. Not major but I did want to point out that the Aero did OC a little more. The power limit was also higher. Thermals are fantastic. Can't say enough. Coil whine is also very minimal. My only minor gripe is that the GPU ... MoreMy first Gigabyte card and it is gorgeous! Coil whine is also very minimal. My only minor gripe is that the GPU sag bracket didn't fit my NZXT H7 case but this is case related as the H7 has a metal shroud next to the MOBO for cable management/cover and aesthetics. I had to buy a separate GPU stand to help hold up this GPU. Sag was really bad without additional support. If your case cannot support the included metal bracket, I definitely advise getting something else to help with the sag.Follow me @ Lil Rice Muncher Gaming on YouTube and ask me any questions!
I just installed this GPU onto an Asus ROG Strix Z490-F motherboard. This eventually worked fine, but took several hours because:1: The anti-sag bracket (which bolts down to two of the motherboard mounting standoffs) is too wide, and blocks a critical connector. The same might happen with other similar motherboards, but I don't have a variety around to measure....My bench grinder solved this problem, but I prefer not to use a grinding wheel to install a GPU.2: That same bracket only allows the GPU to be installed in one specific PCIe slot. There is adjustment for card length, but not for which PCIe connector.3: The instructions are almost useless, printed on one sheet of paper despite being in many languages (most of it is pictures). Absolutely no information about the unusual power cabling (much less warning about how to avoid the infamous burning connector problem -- in short, make very sure all connectors are completely seated). All I found on the Gigabyte site was a PDF of the same sheet of paper.Seems like Gigabyte could have avoided these problems. I tried notifying both Asus and Gigabyte directly, but they seem hard to reach.Once done, the GPU fired up fine and this seems like a fine and very fast card. We did have to update the graphics driver before audio worked. So unless you're willing to do a little machining, make sure your motherboard doesn't have connectors too near the motherboard mounting points.
