Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 Super WINDFORCE V2 16G Graphic Card

I bought the product to run a new HTC Vive Pro 2 for flight sim (X-Plane 12) as my 2080Ti couldn't quite run HTC Vive Pro (orig) on full settings. While I still can't run on full settings in VR, I CAN run good settings now at twice the Res previously, so a very decent upgrade without going all the way to a wallet and plug-melting 4090. It's a big unit - I had to adapt the support bracket for my case/motherboard and shuffle some drive racks. I haven't yet tried MSFS 2020 which would make better use of the RTX/DLSS for even better performance

excellent product capable of running personal A.I. and keep every thing private in house with nothing leaving you comp you don't wantmy only complaint is it is way too expensive for a graphics card

Best card design of the 40-series

I absolutely love the position Gigabyte placed the 12VHPWR plug on this design. It should just be the normal position from now on. No smashed cable or buckled bends. It just sits right on the front of the card without needing to awkwardly bend down and placing unnecessary pressure on the power cable and plug. It made my SFF build painless. And otherwise I would have likely not even been able to use the Fractal Ridge. My build is beautiful!

Great GPU for vertical installations!

Excellent GPU. Fans are quiet, no coil whine and performs as a 4080 Super should! I really like how the power connection is NOT on top. Really makes for a clean look especially with a vertical installation as I am doing. Overall very satisfied so far!

Great Graphics Card

First off, the first thing that called my attention about the GPU was the placement of the power plug-in (12+4), it is super convenient and easier to access, and makes the system look unique if correctry routed, not worried about the GPU’s cable getting in the way. Overall, the graphics card runs super cool, the max temp i’ve hit on games like COD was like 62C, i have a Ryzen 9 7950x and 64gb of DDR5 5600hz ram. All put together in a 5000x Corsair case. It also comes with a bracket that i didn’t use but i can see anyone else using. My 43” 4k monitor runs smoothly with everything at max and hitting 130+ FPS easily!

Great gpu

Works as intended. The packaging was also very good. Honestly, I expected the packaging to be poor. The performance is excellent. It runs Call of Duty, Destiny 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5, etc., very well. I recommend this GPU. Also, be sure to be home to receive the package, as they do not call or notify you when they arrive.

Just Buy it!

This is a Beast. The beauty of this particular model is that it draws less power and is more compact that all other RTX 4080 super graphics cards and it also runs cooler than most all of them. It was plug & play for me. I didn't need to upgrade my 850 Watt Power Supply or my GPU Power Supply Cable. Handles any Game at 2x max. Settings. Pictured in a Corsair 4000 midsized case. Please note that it easily fits.

Much better value than before

The new 4080 Super doesn't increase much in specs over the basic 4080, but the price makes up for it, especially if you were considering the 4070ti.There are plenty of reviews on performance, but I want to highlight the 16-pin to triple 8-pin power adaptor that is included with this GPU. If you look at the pictures, the power port is in the recessed area next to the extended heat sink. This means that you won't have to worry about case room on the sides, or bending your cables to close the side panels, like you do with other GPUs. The adapter worked flawlessly and most GPUs (such as my Corsair RM850 Plus Gold PSU that I bought in 2019) should have enough PCIe cables to attach one per PCIe port on the PSU. Surprisingly this card isn't heavy and felt downright lightweight compared to my 2070 Super which it replaced. Not new, OPEN BOX, product USED

The card is great and works great.However, the order I placed was for a new item, but I received instead an OPEN BOX and the product had definitely been USED:- The box showed signs that it was open.- The plastic wrap of the GPU was already wrinkled, tape had been re-applied to close it.- The plastic peel was missing (already peeled off) on the back plate of the GPU.- The front of the GPU has some tiny scratches.Contacted BestBuy, but they refused to issue a partial refund to match the price of an open box for an item in good condition. They suggested instead that I first return the item, then wait for a new one to be shipped, estimating that I should receive it within a week. Quite a hassle, and that would leave my computer without GPU.
