I have three of these cards, because its the only model i can find in stock. You get 1080Ti performance at a MUCH lower wattage. Runs cool, almost no heat comes off of it. Not happy with current market prices, but its my #1 recommendation for friends and family if you can find them in stock. Doesnt feel like a high quality fan shroud or backplate, but the card works and performs fine.

This 6600xt stays cool, plays everything i throw at it with no issues and is affordable at $500. Ive owned almost every new gen cards on both sides (3x6600/4x3060/4x6600xts/4 3060ti’s/3 3070’s and a 6800xt and finally my current 3080) out of all of them when it comes to price to performance this card takes the crown. It beats the 3060’s and does a dam good job keeping up with the 3060ti in a lot of titles. If you can get this at $500 do it. You won’t regret it

Good for budget 1080p gaming with current tech.
10 October 2021

If you're targeting very good 1080p gaming and have no real plans to move to 2k or 4k anytime soon, this card should definitely be on your radar. Further, it is very well priced for the current card market conditions. Whilst big powerhouse cards are getting 1.5x reference msrp and beyond, this AIB is retail priced only $60 over reference msrp of $379 (which is, admittedly, set higher than you might expect to begin with).Important: You may expect the limited top-end performance of this card to be unattractive to miners. You couldn't be more wrong. They don't pull lavish MH/s ETH, but what they do pull they accomplish with very high power efficiency. Being in the bottom price range of current market tech makes these very attractive to long term miners building large, power-efficient rigs. Something to consider.

Arrived sooner than Newegg initially stated and undamaged. RX 6600 Xt is surprisingly good. Roughly 50% performance uplift over my GTX 1660 Super. Though I can tell the memory is just a bit slower when loading some texture intensive indie games. (Beam.ng Drive) It runs about 75c under extended load. Draws around 140w. Stock core clock boosting into the 2600's. After a few weeks of burn in, I'll see what I can squeeze out of it with an OC. I did reduce the max fan speed to 65%. The fans can go 5000rpm+ if left on their own. Which is definitely not quiet. But around 2500rpm, the cooling is sufficient and the noise level is average. I am running on pcie 4, Ryzen 3600 so no SAM capability to test. Card handles gameplay recording without a hitch. Maybe a few fps lost if ... MoreArrived sooner than Newegg initially stated and undamaged. RX 6600 Xt is surprisingly good. Roughly 50% performance uplift over my GTX 1660 Super. All in all a good mid-range card. Handles my dual 1080p displays just fine. All ports are working, thought the HDMI ports were not initially. Installing drivers solved that.

Radeon's software here for the AMD cards really is nice here. So I fired up a game and loaded up my Radeon Metrics on screen With about 75% to 90% GPU Load give or take some, this GPU's metrics were as follow. 60 C - 66 C, 25 watt to 80 watt power draw. So it's far cooler and less power than my last GPU The biggest reason I wanted to get this was for a more efficient GPU and cooler room temps, not for 4k gaming, I run 1080p anyhow. This did replace my GV-R939G1 GAMING-8GD, also a Gigabyte card for those not wanting to look that up. I do have this in my Ryzen system, so the Radeon software works well for an all in one place to check up on metrics and driver settings for the system. Not to mention other useful things like recording stuff and more. For the record Corsair ICUE does see the GPU temp as well for anyone curious, well for me. I know for a fact that if you plan to run 4k on this card, maybe consider going to something other than a RX 6600, this is designed for 1080p gaming. Jayz does point out the 6600 works well enough for 1440p. That or I suppose be prepared for not the best FPS on 4k.

Not the best, but it works
3 December 2021

Not your best option, the cooling solution coulb be better (i suggest you turn off the zero rpm otherwise you will see 50-55c on idle). The constrution fells a little cheap, and has not any RGB. i got this cause was one i could find avilablein game performance, is whta you will see on a 6600xt, but i am sure that other brands with better cooling will offer more.

Solid card but watch out for the black screen issue when installing Radeon driver
31 August 2021

This is a solid card if you can get it at or near MSRP. Games are running great and I'm able to even run the Unreal 5 Legacy of the Ancient demo at decent speeds.I don't mind the lack of raytracing as it's not important for my needs. The only issue is that installing the drivers took almost half a day of my time as I was getting the dreaded black screen issue after installing. It's not an uncommon issue with these cards. Uninstalling my previous Nvidia drivers, plus the AMD drivers, via DDU did not address the issue for me. It was only after swapping out my 5-year old HDMI cable with a new high-speed HDMI cable that I got the card working!

Would be great if displayport worked...
13 August 2021

Card arrived today - used DDU to uninstall drivers but only the HDMI ports are outputting video. Neither of the displayport ports works properly. I have tried with two known working cables and confirmed that my displayport monitor works as well. Windows 10 picks up that a monitor is there, but lists as "Isn't Active." I have removed and downloaded drivers multiple times now, both in safe mode and not to no avail. If I use AMD's display mirroring feature it will output to the dp monitor at a very scaled down resolution which leads me to believe this is a driver issue - will update if AMD releases a driver fix.
