Card certainly performs better then my old 1060 6gb but the limiting factor in performance is heat. My case is a small media setup with water cooled CPU running at 56c during gaming but the GPU was running in excess of 90c until I turned down some game graphics settings and this was even with the case open. Card has not been over clocked running at 70%, I have made the fans run at 100% after 60c. Water cooling seems to be the only way forward to get the best from this card.

Gigabyte's RTX 3060 performs a lot better than I initially thought it would. If you run games at 1080p you can easily run things like Doom Eternal on max settings (With DLSS) and get above 90-100fps. It's also very Overclocking friendly, and you can squeeze out a bunch of extra performance. It has a couple of great features I'd like to specifically note. First being DLSS which has been incredible to get better framerates when running things with RayTracing, which is another great feature it makes games look incredible. Another great feature would be one that isn't exactly specific to this card and more to almost every Nvidia GPU but Nvidia reflex is great in FPS games and the likes.as of writing I've had the product for 3 weeks and a half. It has kept up very nicely with all such tasks.Nvidia's drivers for the card are pretty good.Overall at its current price as of writing I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more bang for your buck option.

I desperately needed a new graphics card so I could hand down my 2060 RTX Super to my daughter. I didn't want to spend lots and was looking for a card to give me an improvement without breaking the bank. Thankfully this card was what I was looking for. A more compact design, (but not a mini card) so it's able to fit in to smaller cases. The new Ampere streaming multi processors deliver speedups for heavy work loads, a whopping 12Gb of DDR6 it delivers the power to play AAA games with great frame rates. Easy to install requiring a single 8 pin power connection.

Good cost for benchmark rating on userbenchmark.com. Could have got a better card but that would be at a far higher cost and I usually aim at mid range cards that still potentially have years more use left in them. High end cards costing double or higher are just not worth it if on a tight budget and this card for me was at the top limit of that.Performance is good and way better than the old card it replaced so obviously not going to say it is is amazing based on that. I chose this card as cost to performance ratio was good and this is why I would recommend this card.
For gamers and content creators, the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 WINDFORCE OC 12GB is a great graphics card that delivers excellent performance at a reasonable price point. It has 12GB of GDDR6 memory, which ensures smooth gameplay even on high settings. The WINDFORCE cooling system keeps the temperature under control during intense gaming sessions, ensuring longevity for the card. Overall, this graphics card is an excellent choice for those looking for a balance between price and performance.
Good card for me as I was upgrading from a GTX 650 and the difference is massive. I was thinking of the RTX 3050 but the price difference and the performance difference of this card is worth the extra. I don't do gaming so this card is for content creation, photography and video and I can now use Davinci Resolve. I still think GPUs are still on the expensive side so thats why I gave it four stars. Scan customer service and delivery is brilliant. What more can I say, if you want a GPU, I can recommend this card.
The GPU card itself is great. Hardly breaks a sweat and runs a lot cooler than my previous GPU (GTX 970). I tend to game at 1080p/2K and the card is more than capable for all of the titles I've tried. If you want to monitor or have control over the fan speed you'll need to install the Gigabyte GCC drivers/app. This I had a few issues with - all works fine initially, but when updating to the latest version it failed to recognise the card. I could only recover it by rolling back the OS to an earlier checkpoint (luckily I had one). Uninstalling/Reinstalling GCC didn't work.
I set out to find a suitable affordable replacement card for my 10 year old PNY Quadro D1000.The price however was around £900; this was quite a bit more than I had budgeted for.Having trawled many websites I noticed the RTX 3060 card. Although this is primarily for Gaming machines It seemed too good to pass on - excellent quality. Now I am really pleased I made this purchase; mind, it is a big card and only just fitted! The top end (recommended) resolution is amazing on my 27" AOC monitor and it is lightening quick.I'm 77years old, still like using my SolidWorks CAD system and live in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
Replacing a Radeon R9-290X that worked fine with Oculus Rift but gave no video on Valve Index.TBH I didn't want to make this upgrade because the 290X was right in the middle of the Amber section of the SteamVR benchmark in terms of capability and we were happy with it as a second VR rig in the house. Unfortunately, it didn't produce an image, I suspect that the Displayport was too early a version on the card to be able to pump enough pixels to the more-capable Index headset.I had a worry that maybe the 3060 wasn't capable enough but needed something to run the Index, but I was happy and a little surprised when the SteamVR benchmark put the performance marker all the way to the right, to the top of the green section. This is on my "living room" rig, which is ... My expectation was that I'd need a 3070 for this performance, but the 3060 in general (and this card specifically) was having no problems at all.Even better, it was shorter than the 290X (handy because it was in an ITX case and the old card *just* fit) and required less power to do a better job.Don't get me wrong, I'm not 100% on board with current pricing and would have chosen to not buy anything if I didn't had to, but because did I needed a new card, I was kind of surprised that this card was capable enough to cover VR.
