Gigwi Melody Chaser Mouse Motion Active Cat Toy

I'm torn between 5 or 3 star rating.My cat loves this toy so far. But after 3 days of heavy play with it, the battery is starting to go. For the price, the battery should last longer than this or should be replaceable/rechargeable.

Addictive

My kitten is obsessed with this. Initially, I didn't know how he was going to be with this toy, but my god it keeps him entertained for hours. The second he hears it he will find it. Sometimes I have to hide it during the night

Beg and pester your human to buy you one

I like using my Gigwi hedgehog toy as a little pillow to rest my chin on. I'm still a bit scared to pick it up and carry it in my mouth. Maybe when the squeaker sound runs out I'll be braver. I'm hoping my Mum sprinkles some of my dried catnip on it, then I might love my Gigwi even more! Smooches and whiskers from Zac the Cat, 11 year old male furbaby from Victoria, Australia

Cat is Obsessed

My kitten loves this! Plays with it for ages and really engaged too. He thinks it is real. He likes soft toys but I think the sound really engages him because he does not want to leave this toy alone. While the sound is persistent (especially if your cat plays with it a lot!) I wouldn't call it irritating because it is a soft enough sound but also realistic for your cat.

Finally a toy my cat likes

My girl is usually scared of any toy that can make a sound so I didn't have my hopes up when purchased it (I still bought it because a mom would try anything to make her baby happy). But who knows, she loved this!!! Although as an engineering student, I'm super curious about how it makes such realistic noise without a battery (doesn't seem like it has a battery replacing slot so I assumed it doesn't need one). I guess in the future I can find out if my cat tears this up.

Great toy

My cat adores this toy. Plays with it for ages, tossing it in the air and chasing. She, unfortunately, sometimes carries it into my bedroom in the middle of the night and proceeds to thump around with it. This is No.2 as No.1 eventually ran out of squeak but she still plays with it, but she loves the squeak. Best toy ever

Loved until death

My 3 year old loves this toy. We bought one over a year ago for her and she played with it so much it stopped making noise. Even after it stopped making noise she still played with it. We just bought a second one so she can have the noise back and she's so happy with it.

My boy loves it!

My old mate usually loses interest in toys but he really loves this little mouse, he bats it around for ages and takes it with him on his travels around the house. The sounds are pretty minimal so they won't bother you. Worth the 12 bucks for sure.

Not interested

My cat is not interested in this at all, does not matter how many times I try and engage him to play with it. He avoids it. He liked his previous mouse that moved and chirped but it got knocked around and stopped moving. I thought this would be better as it is soft unlike the other.

Squeaky mouse

I've been trying to find a toy that will occupy a very bored cat for even a short while. Lasers don't work, he just ignores them. Initially when this mouse arrived I was a bit disappointed and he just looked at it. Over a day or two he has got more interested and now chews it, throws it around and enjoys it. As with cats he then wants something different to interest him but that is a cat. Mouse squeaks at him when touched and will re engage him.
