I love to use Gildan shirts when I am making my HTV t-shirt designs for my grandson or other family members. The colors are wonderful, numerous, & don't fade wash after
wash. The HTV takes beautifully to these shirts & I've had my designs last well over the normal wash & dry HTV life (50 washes). My grandson wears his Stitch (from Lilo &
Stitch) shirt I made him weekly & has for over a year. The dark purple Gildan tshirt remains pristine in color & the vinyl has lasted over a year which says a great deal for the
favorite shirt of a 5 year old boy!

Fine shirts for dying, as they are 100% cotton. The sizing is always different with various name brand tshirts, so its great that you can look at the shirt without having to open
up a plastic package of three. I personally prefer the V-neck, and there are usually many sizes of both types of tshirts, so i can get all the perfect sizes for making shirts for
specific people.. I also advise people to just stop in there to grab a shirt or other cloth item to tiedye if they wish to join me in doing sone dying. Its easy & quick to find
something plus they can grab a three or more color dye kit to bring along to learn to tiedye with me. I just wish Michaels would sell soda ash, as even with the dy... Show more

I have used this shirt for numerous occasions. This shirt washes very well. You can either hang it up or you can dry it. Use fabric softener and fabric softener sheets. It has held
up very well with color not fade like other brands. Royal blue is our school color, so this shirt is a permanent fixture in our household. This shirt is a shirt I use for others as well
in our community.

I just wish Michaels would sell soda ash, as even with the dyes there that claim to contain fixative, they do mor stay in the cloth well without that 20 minute pretreat soak in soda ash and water. Its sad when people work so hard and the patterns come out beautiful, but then they fade a great deal or almost all the way in the rinse or wash. Colors should be vivid and stay that vivid. These dyes never are as vivid as the dyes bought in jars at other art stores, but they can at least be preserved well if there is a pretreat with a fixative. Ill repeat that even the kits that say there is fixative in the dye do not stay in the cloth without a pretreat soak in soda aah mixed in water. You will need to order soda aah online but not at Michaels. Its sometimes at other art stores, but its been very hard to find in Maine the last handful of years.... Show more

Perfect for color-coded groups for field trips!
22 May 2023
I bought these T-shirts in assorted rainbow colors and in assorted sizes for a play I was doing with my students. They come in a variety of sizes and colors so I bought 30. The shirts are great quality, the colors are bright and vibrant and best of all, they are very comfortable. My students loved wearing them. I used the shirts again last week for a field trip. The brightly colored shirts made it possible to keep everyone safely in their color groups. The chaperones were so thankful that we had these T-shirts. They sure helped make our trip go smoothly. Many people complimented the T-shirts and asked where we got them. You can’t beat the quality or the price!... Show more

QualityT-Shirts with a Variety of Uses
26 August 2023
These t-shirts are good quality, medium weight 100% cotton. They can be used for many different purposes. I get them each year to make class t-shirts with my 4th graders, and very much appreciate the sale prices right before school is starting! Because they are cotton, they tie dye well, screen print well, and easily take paint with fabric medium mixed in when stenciling. these shirts are soft and comfy, and the color variety is especially good. It enables each of our 4th grade classes to pick a different color, which really helps with class management during field work and field trips. Makes for great class pics too!... Show more

Tshirts for VBS
26 July 2024
Can't beat the price! I was worried they would feel super cheap (considering) but they were light weight and softer than I expected. We used them for making tshirts with our campers for our church VBS. And for being July, the tshirts were comfortable, not too thick. I would order these again!Had a little trouble with ironing on our designs but that was potentially the cheap vinyl I ordered on Amazon. Make sure you've got some good stuff and you should be golden.... Show more

We love these shirts!
4 November 2022
I can’t get enough of these shirts! I can’t believe my good fortune, at finding such high quality cotton shirts, in so many colors and sizes! I’ve bought multiple shirts, in different colors and sizes, most of the time for my 2 children. They make GREAT nihht shirts, play shirts, every day shirts, under shirts and craft projects! The quality is great; not too thin, but not insanely thick either. Definitely well made, cotton, and so many fun colors! Great for holidays, or any day! They wash well; they haven’t faded at all. They do seem to run slightly large, in sizing. But we love them, and if you can catch them on sale, that’s a bonus! Really vibrant colors, great material, and not cut weird like some shirts.... What a deal
8 June 2024
This shirt was for my daughter to wear during cheer practice. She needed something soft and light weight and this shirt did not disappoint. My daughter, although a teenager, is little so the big kid medium/large fit her perfectly. Medium when she wanted to wear a more fitted shirt and large when she wanted a little room. The price point of $2.99 was perfect if she got it dirty or stained it did make yell, “ugh kid what are you doing at practice to get this dirty?” Because a $2.99 is more palatable than $10+ for a plain white shirt. If you or child needs an adult size the price point was $5.99 still not a bad deal.... Show more
