We needed 100% cotton colored shirts for a family event. Did not open package until we got there. 2 of the shirts had spots that were unraveling. I needed to purchase the same shirts so we could reverse tie dye them. Unfortunately the shirts are not the same so we had some that did not bleach, some that turned brown and some that turned red. So unfortunately, buying the same shirts from the same company does not give you the same results.

I’ve bought Gilden shirts before at Joann fabrics but they were limited on colors and sizes. When I found this site, I was absolutely floored at the colors and the price. My first batch I bought last month and then I turned around and bought more these shirts are very comfortable, and they wash up nicely

This is an excellent quality shirt! The shirt is soft to the touch and a medium-light weight fabric. I ordered a 2XL which roughly measured 29 inches lengthwise and 25 inches across the chest before washing. After washing/drying on normal the shirt roughly measured 27.5 inches lengthwise and 24 inches across the chest. Which is about what I expected for a 100% cotton t-shirt. This shirt is very comfortable to wear! I often wear it both outside and to sleep. If you are trying to choose between the Gildan Heavy Cotton or this one (Gildan Softstyle) I recommend choosing this one because it does have that softer feel to the fabric. The Gildan heavy cotton shirt is neither scratchy nor soft. I have already put in another purchase for more of these soft shirts for myself!
I was ordering my first batch of tee shirts for my business im building , there issn't any major branding going on at the moment, but wanted to do a shirt good for sublimation and transfer films, something light weight with nicer weather upon us and a unisex shirt for everyone. The 6400 is the perfect choice for me to start with. It fulfilled every need i was looking for on my first order to try techniques and process. I have yet to do my wash test after the fact. but ill def be placing more as soon as possible. I dont have my wholesale license yet but i was already satisfied with the pricing i received. There's nothing special about the Gildan shirts. The material is more on the rough side rather than on the soft side. Gildan makes many different styles of the same shirt (the stitching is different in the neck and sleeve areas) so you have to pay very close attention when purchasing, especially if one is making a shirt order for a group and wants uniformed shirts. What Gildan does have going for them is the price point at $2.99/each shirt.
Happy with this shirt and fit. A stylish retail fit vs. a boxy fit. Will be offering this in my shop, especially for men. Note that I ordered the grey heather with a poly/cotton blend. The 100% cotton solid colors may shrink.
Although soft and good quality, the shirts shrink when washed and they definitely run small. I hate that I spent nearly $600 on so many that I will complaints about. I should’ve tried a couple before placing such a lard order. Lesson learned.

The t-shirts 2 different brands for the mens and women's style cuts were both true to size and soft.
