Gillette Fusion (8 Pack)

I love the Gillette razor cartridges. I usually just buy a razor from them and can buy the disposable cartridges like these to replace the blade every so often when it gets dull. I really like that these have 5 blades so it gets as close to the surface as it can and shaves the hair off. These are also pretty sharp so they get a close, precise cut of the hair but they’re comfortable enough to where I don’t often knick myself in the process. These cartridges are also pretty durable and they’ve lasted me weeks to a month or so depending on how often I shave and the blades do not dull quickly. My husband was the first to start using these razor blades, he loves how close of a shave he gets, and the fact it has a single blade on the top he can trim between his nose and mustache much easier. He has never gotten razor burn, or any skin irritation mainly because these blades don't require a lot of pressure to shave. On vacation I forgot my razor, so I changed his blade out and used it, and in that very moment I questioned why I had been using razor blades targeted for women. I have never had a closer or smoother shave from any other blade. I bought me and my daughter the razor and blades, now our entire household using nothing but Gillette Fusion.

I have been using the Gillette Mens Fusion Mach5 refill cartridges for years. You can use it just under running water or with soap or shaving cream with almost the same results. I use them omy legs, underarms and my private areas without a worry in the world. It gives such a close clean shave on the first attempts without having to go over the same area several times. I love the way it leaves me with my skin feeling smooth and doesn't leave me with ingrown hairs. My hubby also only ever uses Mach5 refill cartridges to shave his face and back in the day he would only ever use Gillete Mach5 to shave his head bald.

I've seen commercials about the Gillette Flexball Razor on the television, but never thought about buying it since I'm a loyal user of Gillette's Fusion Power razors. I figured the flexball was just some gimmick to sell the product. I didn't think the flexball would pivot well enough around the contours of the face to create a smooth shave. Blade quality steeply declined

Let me start this by saying I as a woman have been using these for my body since 2004. I found that Men’s razors work better. So I know a thing or two about these razors. Up until a few months back they were still the best around! Unfortunately I started getting razor burn on my legs, dragging and bumps because the blades don’t cut as well! They don’t get close enough like the old design. That’s a shame because these were the only razors I have used for 20 years. I have never found a closer shave. So so sad

Newly Designed Refills Provide a Terrible Shave

I’ve been using the Fusion blade for years and it consistently provided the smoothest, closest, most comfortable shave on the mass market.The new heads that have been slowly rolling out (the ones with the smaller orange bottom strip with holes) are terrible.I thought I was going crazy that I had 2 days worth of visible, itchy stubble the day after shaving (I usually can go 3 days without shaving with the original Fusion blade), until I looked online and am seeing the same complaints from hundreds of users.I still have one of the original blades. I tried them two shaves back to back and the original produces a profoundly better, longer last shave.You screwed up Gillette and need to bring back the old blade. Redesign to Razor Heads on Fusion 5 is Terrible

I've been using Gillette Fusion5 blades for YEARS. They used to be the very best out there. The recent change to the plastic/rubber around the blades on the heads is terrible. It causes too much friction/drag, and prevents the blades from getting close enough to the skin for a close shave. This makes you use more pressure to get the blades closer, forces you to shave over the same spot over and over, and results in MORE cuts, not fewer. And you STILL don't have results as good as they used to be. Please go back to your old design or at least rethink the new one. I am searching for something new now after almost 20 years, because these are just plan unusable.

Something Changed: Massive Reduction in Shave Quality

I’ve been using the Fusion blade for years and years. Without fail, it has always provided the closest, cleanest, most comfortable shave of any mainstream razor. Something happened. This new redesign of the blade (you can tell by the orange strip at the bottom - the old one is a solid bar and the new one has little openings along the bottom) is absolutely awful. They look the same blade wise, but the shave quality is abysmal- while it’s still a smooth shave, it doesn’t shave NEARLY as close. I thought I was going crazy because one day after shaving (I usually go 2-3 days in between), my neck felt (and looked) like I was on day 4 of no shave. I don’t know what changed, but Gillette, you messed up. Please change it back.

The Best a Man or Woman can get

I was always a Mach 3 fan. Thought that more than 3 blades was an overkill until I tried the Fusion. I can shave with the same cartridge numerous times and only change it because I can and on top of the 5 blades being fantastic for my somewhat sensitive skin Gillette went ahead and added the fantastic trimmer blade on the back which I use for many things and it also keeps a sharper edge than most of the other brands 3-5 blades combined. It may sound like an exaggeration but, it definitely is not. I was leary of paying the price for them honestly and my fiance bought them for me the first time and I am so thankful she did because there is no turning back.
