Gillette Satin Care Sensitive Skin Shaving Gel 195g

I have been using this for awhile, and have repurchased it several times. I do like it, and it works good enough for me. It lathers well but gets somewhat dry before you can make it to the other leg. It doesn’t irritate my skin but I still get razor bumps in some places. While my skin does feel smooth and soft, it leaves my skin a bit dry. I still get the occasional nicks but it’s nothing serious, and I think overall it protects my skin.

I find that this product is one of the better ones to help with my sensitive skin. It lathers up a lot and very easily, and I find that the can lasts quite a while even with using a lot of product. It has a light “fresh” scent, which I don’t think is overpowering. This pact in particular is a great deal as you get two. I will definitely continue to repurchase as it is a staple in my shaving routine.

This product is essential in my house. We love the fact that you can live it in the shower and the can doesn’t get rusty. Me and my daughter we do not shave without this. Our skin feels so smooth, and well treated with this product that I love love this so much. A small quantity goes a long way. Highly recommend this!

This is one of the only two shaving creams I use. I always look for unscented/perfume-free products because otherwise my skin breaks out. At first this product had a problem with rusting, but now it no longer does. They have a similar one which is just called "sensitive" but I always get this one "ultra sensitive". Super creamy, doesn't dry out my skin, doesn't irritate like some fragranced ones have.

I made dietary changes in my my skin became much more sensitive. This after shave cream work well I'll surprise how to let all you need as well that's also a positive. You can get some standard after shave cream but it won't last as long as this so we're all I think is very good value. More importantly this in the new aftershave lotion I'm using did leave my face looking much better and did not look like I have a problem with my face looks normal. It definitely alleviated the sensitivity there was no reaction to the shaving so yeah I'm pleased with it I will continue to use it for as long as it continues to work. I most definitely plan to buy it again.

Gillette Sensitive Satin Care

Firstly I like the colour scheme they have going for this particular product. It's not overpowering bold in your face colours more gentle, relaxing and soothing which to me tries to highlight the sensitive side of the shaving gel. I do prefer men's shaving gels to women's but decided to give it a try especially for its sensitive care claims. It's not a bad shaving gel at all, the fragrance isn't overpowering and it helps my razor to glide over my legs easy not leaving any nicks or cuts and once my legs are shaved they feel smooth and silky to the touch. I appreciate that I don't get a rash either when using this gel and I like how it starts out as a gel and works into a lather. There is minimal waste and the can lasts months for me.

It's enraging trying so hard to find a "sensitive skin" shaving gel that doesn't have some nasty, rash-inducing ingredient in it (salicylic acid, peppermint, flower oil, all sorts of garbage), plus the usually gross fragrancs that linger on skin and dry it out. So awful. Worst than dry shaving!

I was shocked at how bad this product was. I never leave reviews but this made my (new) razor DRAG across my legs. It created so much friction that when I washed it off my skin had that horrible slip free texture as if I had washed with a bar of old school soap and all the moisture had been sucked out of my skin. Honestly, I would have been better off dry shaving, or shaving with cold water and soap than using this product! It made my skin so much harder to shave. I have no idea how it has had good reviews up until now!? Steer well clear. Once was enough, many cuts and some razor rash later, it's safe to say I won't be using this product ever again.

Terrible product!

This had very positive reviews and the price was super cheap compared to other shave gels/creams. Now I know why it was so cheap but I don’t know how it got such rave reviews as I did not like it at all! It was absolutely awful! First issue was it said it was fragrance free yet it smelled like eucalyptus or a light menthol scent. Secondly it had no moisturizing to it, so one swipe with your razor completely removed it and with no moisturizer, it was so dry you couldn’t make a second swipe with the razor. Due to this you needed to reapply more and more per each swipe of the razor in that area. After shaving my legs were super dry too. Do not recommend this product at all!
