However, GilletteLabs (a standalone brand of Gillette) has come up with some new and innovative razors that have topped the old way to shave, although some have been very pricey, yet efficient; for instance, the heated razor. This one, GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar, has now made, yet again, the top of the line razor that give a smooth and satisfying shave! No nicks, scratches, or irritation. The exfoliating bar as a great feature that adds just the right amount of pressure while shaving, allowing for a close and comfortable shaving experience. The "2-D FlexDisc" helps the blade keep contact with the contours of the face. It even comes with a magnetic stand that keeps the razor upright, to allow for proper drying and to avoid blade rust. It has a metal, ergonomic designed handle with a rubber grip and backing, which makes it very comfortable to handle and non-slip. Package also comes with an extra razor cartridge. We are absolutely satisfied with this product and highly recommend yet another winner from GilletteLabs!This is a nice bundle that I didn't think I'd enjoy. I've used many different types/brands of razors, and I believe I have found the perfect one for me. No matter what razor I tend to use, I end up with nicks and razor burn. My skin is extremely sensitive and it's hard to find a razor that doesn't irritate or cause me facial woes. Having used this particular razor for quite some time I have found a couple things of interest. First, the blades are wonderful. They cut right through facial hair without the usual "pulling" feeling. They last even longer than my usual brand as well. The exfoliating works wonders leaving my face soft, smooth and burn free. Secondly, the handle is comfortable to hold and easy to use. It has heft to it and feels solid so it can withstand a few drops by an "oopsie." The movable head works well and holds the angle needed perfectly. I love the design and color. Very modern and simple. Lastly, there's an included stand. I don't really need this (maybe you will), but it's a nice addition and actually holds the razor upright and ready to use. It could've used a spot for extra blades as well, but it's not a huge miss on their end. All in all, this is a solid razor with blades that cut great and left me feeling smooth and irritation free. Great Razor and Base with 1 too many blades

I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! (which is probably the 2nd coolest feature of this product after to the exfoliating bar =)The first few times I used this razor I did notice a closer shave, so much so that I noticed I could almost go and extra day without shaving versus the standard 2 days I was used to with my Mach 3.However, during a couple of these initial shaves I did have the unfortunate event of cutting myself with the razor when trying to shave just below my nostrils since I believe this razor simply has 1 too ... MoreI got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. First, the look and feel. This thing just screams premium with the high quality weight and black metal aesthetics mixed with the provided stand - this thing looks sharp on a counter. The black/green combo just pops. The handle is great - thick and heavy to easily control the razor. The shave is great as to be expected with a Gillette flagship razor and each shave has been equally close (going on #7 with it). This razor is clearly a top tier option. However, the problem I have with it is the value. The razor and blades are simply expensive as can be and while the shave is great - so is the shave with the Fusion5 and Proglide (almost identical quality of shave) and the older Mach3 isn't far behind. May have finally found my razor

Since I've started shaving I've bounced from brand to brand and 3-7 blades with all sorts of features but never settled on a consistent razor. This one was a surprise and will be my choice for some time to come it seems. The first thing I noticed when unboxing was the included base. I had expected from the picture it was a plastic disc but was not ready for how solid and sturdy it was, and the weight. It sits firmly where you put it and is a solid display stand for the razor when not in use. The handle is nicely sized and allows for a solid grip no matter what hand or angle you are holding it at. Makes it easier to get into corners and specific angles. I almost can't believe that I'm saying that the performance of a cartridge razor is satisfactory, but this comes way closer than anything similar. While I won't be using this as my go-to razor or a replacement to what I have been using, it will definitely be nice to have this for occasions when it might be appropriate, such as traveling.
