Gillies Pilchard 25g / Blue

Kahawai really love them, like love them, like as much as a fat kid likes choccy cake. The plastic barb guards are a pain though - really hard to get off, like the fat kid on the choccy cake.

I used one a few weeks ago , caught a nice snapper first jig , and then promptly lost it next jig ! Replaced it now and looking forward to next fish .Very realistic colours !

Excellent metal lure

Great lure! Love it To catch salmon & barracuda from the boat! Yet to try it off the surf but I imagine it will do the trick 👌

Handly lure

Definitely a must have in your tackle box. You wouod be surprised at what this small lure can catch just by jigging it of the jetty or cst and retrieve.

New Selection

I wanted a trawling lure & the Pilchard lure looked perfect, I tried it as we headed to our favourite whiting spot by trawling in the Emu Point Albany WA channel - bingo ! Immeadite hit just after the line hit the water much to the delight of my 12 year old offfsider & sized whiting

Nice colour

Nice movement for a casting lure. Great flashy colour

Smooth across the water surface.

The Gillies lure I bought was a 85g silver lure and first time I used it I caught 6 good sized tailor, several of which were well over a kg. They skip smoothly ove the surface of the water and I did not drop a single fish so the treble hook comes nice and sharp. Also they are very reasonably priced.

Tailor Magnet

I caught my 1st ever tailor with this bad boy. Then I caught a heap more.

great lures

great for large salmon say down at hanson bay KI just swap the trebble hookm for a size 6,or 7 circle hok and catch as many 6-8lb salmon as you want

the lure line holder broke on the first fish

when i bought this it last week and the the lure line holder broke on the first fish. so i hope i can at least get a new one to hopefully see if its and better
