Love that this matches the shade of the Luminous Silk Foundation perfectly so you can use it afterwards with no colour differences. I will underpaint areas of redness, under my eyes etc and then touch up any blemishes or pigmentation after applying foundation. It blends beautifully and doesn’t crease under my eyes or get cakey anywhere. It is a fairly thick consistency so you don’t need to apply a lot of it, especially under the eyes, use a little and add if you need more rather than a big smear some people do! A bottle lasts ages and I go through the foundation quicker than this. Love it just as much as I do the LS foundation! Giorgio Armani products are so well made with lovely luxurious packaging that you want after spending all the money.

Almost Perfect (so close...)

After trying a fair amount concealers this is the first one that doesn't emphasize any creases or texture around my eyes- and performs that way without having to prime beforehand or set with powder afterwards (adding powder always emphasizes my creases even more anyway). Furthermore, it doesn't eventually sink into the lines after a few hours.The consistency is soft and light with very much a "skinlike" finish, and I really liked how it brightens my under eyes but still works for spot coverage. Bad packaging

The concealer itself is overall good. I personally found it a wee bit too drying for my 50+ age skin, but my 16 year old daughter loves it (I gave it to her because I found it drying). The real problem with it, is that I’ve purchased it twice now (the second time as a gift for her), and both times, the tube eventually doesn’t close properly. Yes, it did roll off the bathroom counter a few times, which I’m sure didn’t help. But twice, when only 1/4 has been used, it won’t close and ends up all goopy around the threads, and a mess. You can’t store it in your makeup bag, because it’s basically open and a goopy mess. It’s too pricey to toss, so you feel victimized by a concealer…storing it upright on the counter until it’s all used up. Buildable Medium Coverage, Applies Well

The job of the concealer is not to completely cover my dark circles but to blend and brighten my skin so the dark circles are less noticeable.I like this particular formula well enough but I suggest definitely using a separate blender or brush for blending. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry everywhere else, and I have to make sure that the dry areas are moisturized in order to minimize creasing and caking. I also suggest using a setting spray or setting powder for longer lasting wear.The wand applicator on this product isn't the best and the package design is generic other than the brand name logo. There isn't too much product in the small bottle but since I use as little as possible, it still lasts me several months.Over all, it's a good concealer but I honestly expected just a little bit more from a high-end luxury brand, whether it's the applicator or bottle design or the overall formulation. I feel that this is comparable to another brand I use, Shiseido's Synchro Skin concealer, which I also like.

Another aspect of this concealer that I really enjoyed was the applicator. The tip of the applicator is pointy, which is really good for precise application, such as to smaller surfaces of your face like the bridge of your nose. Even though the applicator is a sponge, it is not difficult to pull it out of the bottle, which helps make usage easier. In all, the only minor issues I found with this concealer was that the bottle seemed quite small, especially for the price. However, a little does go a long way and since I wouldn’t use it for blemishes and the like, I think I will keep on restocking this product since I really liked how the small sparkles help my face look more glowy and bright. Sometimes high-end makeup is just good but not groundbreaking, but this formula is particular. I wouldn’t call it high or even medium coverage, but it definitely evens the skintone and the finish is creamy and looks completely natural on the skin. The shade 5 is my exact skintone, the best match I’ve ever had. I’m neutral, but shades tend to lean yellow or are just pasty.The price is high. This GA undereye concealer is the best I have yet to find among many that I have tried. I am 56 and I have genetic dark circles under my eyes, along with puffiness. I have tried so many concealers over the years: Colorscience, Jouer, Iris & Romeo, Becca, Bobbi Brown, Fiera, and Amazing Cosmetics. While more expensive, the GA Luminous Undereye Concealer is by far the best for me. It is creamy, goes on smoothly even over eye cream and does not pill. It covers my dark circles better than any for me (the puffiness is another story) and it blends and absorbs well. So, I believe I have stopped the search for my 56 year old dark undereye area, and while my 27yr old daughter liked the GA Luminous Undereye Concealer, she seems to prefer Nars, which I have not tried myself as the GA received better reviews when I was doing my research.

I received the luminous silk multi-purpose glow concealer by Georgio Armani. I will start by saying that I have never tried anything from this designer/brand before so I was very excited and eager to try something new and different. I love that this came in a 12ml bottle so it's perfect for storage or traveling. The packaging is very basic and does not state very much however simple isn't always bad if the product is great. I have genetically dark undereyes and this formula was silky, creamy, easy to apply with my fingertips and it lasted all day with no primer. My colleagues have noticed that my eyes don't look as dark or tired. Yet it looks like second skin and not cakey at all. I was so impressed and will continue to repurchase.
