One of the most popular and iconic men's fragrances of the 20th and 21st century was composed in 1996 by Fifi Award-winning master perfumer Alberto Morillas and ushered in a new age of fresh, aquatic-citrus scents for men. This classic men's cologne opens with brisk, cool calabrian bergamot, green tangerine and neroli, and gradually grows deeper and richer with notes of rose, rosemary, jasmine petal, persimmon, and Indonesian patchouli. Fantastic for spring and summer wear in casual and work settings, this scent is as timeless as a white tee and well worn jeans, and the men who wear it are professional, warm, and friendly. What is a Tester? Sold without the fancy box and sometimes without the designer cap. Testers are 100% original and authentic. Typically used by department stores to display the fragrance. All testers are new and unused.

I have without a doubt owned more of this fragrance than any other. I can't even begin to count the number of memories that I have made while wearing Acqua Di Gio. It will always have its place in my growing collection of mens fragrances. So I may be a little biased. With that being said. I feel they have reformulated it over the years and it no longer does it for me. To my nose, it just doesn't smell like it used to. Its close, but just not quite right. It definitely does not perform like it used to. In my younger years. Id spray it on, put on my shirt then go about my day or night. Get home and take it off. Then rather it was a week or longer before it nade its way into the washing machine. I would still be able to clearly smell its scent. Need something to mask that gym funk? AdG. It is literally the Swiss Army Knife of fragrances. There are still ladies out there who don't know the scent of Versace Eros, or Le Male from Jean Paul Gaultier. However, you'd be hard pressed to find someone, let them smell this, and not hear them say 'Oh, I know that - thats that Armani fragrance Aqua de GEE OH' hahaha. An aquatic masterpiece that has ascended to legend status, it's Achilles heel nowadays stems from its performance and longevity. Unless someone has an allergic reaction to fragrances, I simply find it impossible to believe anyone wouldn't like this. It out-shined so many classics from back in the day that even I wore (CK One, Tommy Hilfiger for Men, Polo Sport, Cool Water, L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, etc. etc.). My history with this one actually stems from it being the first decant I ever got from a friend! I smelled it on him and traded him some of my L'Eau d'Issey Hour Homme (from Issey Miyake) for his AdG, and between us, I got the better end of the deal! Unlike the sharp Yuzu citrus that Issey Miyake's fragrance had, this was much smoother and almost musky/powdery, with an awesome dry down that wasn't screaming for attention. Back then, this was THE scent in the air that you needed to have. Nowadays, you really need a decant if you plan on wearing this throughout the day. If I had to pick a season for this, it would definitely work best in warm summer days/nights, which will help with the projection. If not, you might as well expect similar performance as Versace Pour Homme, another beautiful scent with abysmal longevity/projection due to reformulations. Honestly? I'd still give it a 4 out of 5 due to nostalgia, scent profile, ease of use, and versatility. This is a great scent for interviews and short stints where you need to throw something on and don't want to think twice. If you live in warm climates, and don't own Acqua di Gio, you probably own one of the several flankers. All hail the king of Aquatics! Of course, one cannot go without mentioning people like Annick Menardo and 'Fragrance Demi-god' Alberto Morillas as they were instrumental in bringing this to life. One behalf of many successful interviews, dates, and relationships around the globe, Thank You for creating this legend! Sincerely, Carlos (Daily Carry Solutions)

Everyone in the early 2000's was wearing this, but for good reason. It just smells good! For me it's probably the mixture of neroli and citrus. I'm a fan of both. It's fresh an clean smelling. I'll probably always have a bottle on-hand despite not wearing it very often anymore. It's nostalgic for me. I gave a 20 year old work buddy a sample of this recently and the smell lit his eyes up when he sprayed it on his wrist. The next day at work he was wearing it and I realized just how good it is. Acqua Di Gio by Armani is a classic scent that many people own, so you may not stand out as being unique if you choose to wear it. It’s been around for a long long time. However, that being said, it is a fragrance that smells great and fresh, with a prominent melon opening note that gives it a light, summery vibe. I’m a huge fan of melon notes so to me this is a fantastic fragrance. I would recommend one of the flankers like Profumo if you want a twist that differentiates your cologne while maintaining the same DNA. Objectively it’s a fantastic fragrance, it’s just too common. There’s a very good chance that you’ve smelled it before. I’ve heard that it’s the best selling fragrance of all time. I don’t know if that’s true but I can believe it. Acqua Di Gio EDT has a whopping 22 notes listed yet it's the simplest scent I've smelled. It's also voted the most popular Cologne ever made so you know it's not bad. This cologne can be worn anytime, anywhere and is an extremely inoffensive and crowd pleasing scent. Probably the best scent you could wear working with people in close spaces(Ex. Server, waitress, salesmen,ECT). You will draw in complement but it's almost impossible to hate. It's the type of scent that if you don't like it you don't mind it. Fresh, bright, citrusy, and aquatic notes are what stand out to make this cologne extremely inoffensive. I'd recommended this if you get you hands on a sample and enjoy it, but it suffers from reformation and longevity problems so make sure it goes with you skin ... MoreAcqua Di Gio EDT has a whopping 22 notes listed yet it's the simplest scent I've smelled. Timeless, Iconic, A classic masterpiece If you have even a remote interest in Men’s fragrance, you must have heard of it, smelled it and most probably tried it. There is a reason its still one of the best sellers at all retails 27 years after its release and the most sold Men’s fragrance of all time. There is no denying the godly freshness and cleanliness this fragrance has you feeling. That lemon lime neroli blast in the opening is incredibly pleasing. The sea notes, the beautiful freesia, that very subtle woody dry down, it's all blended so well to make the ultimate casual fragrance, and I still get compliments when I wear it. I can’t compare it to the older batches since i was not old enough to own it when it came out. I’ve heard that it doesn’t perform as good as it used to but i still smell it 6-7 hours after spraying on me and for a clean aquatic freshie, that’s quite something.

ADG Pour Homme was the first “real” fragrance that I ever became interested in and subsequently wore when I was younger. I’m sure the same can be said for many fragrance enthusiasts; it is one of the most popular men’s fragrances (as well as most sold) of all-time. Today, the performance DOES leave something to be desired. Nevertheless, Pour Homme is still one of my favorite fragrances. It is fresh, light, a tough floral, can be sporty, and evokes nostalgia for anyone who knows it. Not to mention, my wife loves smelling this one one me. Not only will I always have a bottle of this in my collection, but I don’t think I will ever stop truly loving this stuff. I think everyone should at LEAST get their nose on this one, if not have it in their collection?

Acqua di Giò Eau de Toilette is effervescent

Acqua di Gio for Men is sensuous and sparkling cologne which conveys a masculine aura of marine notes, fruits, herbs and woods. Inspired by a Mediterranean island refuge, it captures the essence of paradise. I have enjoyed this scent for over twenty years, as it continues to be a classic scent, but yet, it is still youthful and in style. I believe Acqua di Gio is effervescent and never dates or gets old. So many other scents come in their own in one decade and then are replaced by the next cool waves in the next (or just changed out from generation to generation). We were so obsessed in the nineties and definitely loved our colognes for eternity. Although, all the guys that were stuck in the water did, eventually get out. Now, in 2022, there's not a Paco, Christian, Hugo, Michael or Calvin still in the very top class of men's colognes. Does anyone still remember their colors from growing up in the eighties? Of course, not. (Almost) nothing lasts forever, with the only exception (so far) being Giorgio Armani Acqua di Giò Eau de Toilette. Yes…new scents might be trendy and popular, but most are passing fads. No gimmick here, Acqua di Gio is a quality fragrance that lasts permanently.

A spiciness of nutmeg and coriander is tempered by the base of delicious rich resinous cedar, amber, oakmoss and white musk.Acqua Di Gio exudes strength, positivity, energy and confidence. Even though this fragrance is marketed towards men, I know of several women who have clutched this as their signature daily.Acqua Dio Gio 20ml bottle is currently going for $35 on the Giorgio Armani website and would make a great travel and work bottle for on the go. I believe this is a great price to try this iconic fragrance and have actually purchase a larger 200ml bottle that I was able to engrave though Armani. Scent lasts around 5 - 7 hours and anytime someone passes by, they ask what I am wearing.I would recommend this quintessential fragrance to anyone despite its popularity.

Timeless Classic!

It's clean, sweet, piquant, fresh and full bodied. I like that it incorporates many florals, if rather subtly, in its heart and top notes. I'm pleasantly surprised that Armani managed to make the indolic and overtly sexy notes of neroli and jasmine smell fresh, soothing and even a little masculine, though the sharp citrus notes help. One of my favorite watery floral notes, hyacinth, plays out strongly here. The lovely earthy and herbaceous green notes of rosemary and patchouli can be detected even in the dry down. I don't get a lot of musk here, not on my card or skin—which is fine by me.Acqua Di Gio has a very good reason for being as popular as it is.Timeless Classic!!!
