Giorgio Armani Code Eau De Parfum 75ml Spray

A quick review on the @giorgioarmani code perfume that I purchased from @ultabeauty in December. I've always wanted to try a perfume from ulta and I saw this one on sale. I went to the store and asked for a tester but they didn't have one. I took it any ways and started using it right away. It's has a nice mature scent but too strong for me. I'm more into light fruity scent so after a week I started to notice this wasn't my type of perfume. I still continued to use this because I was determined to make sure. After almost 3 weeks I came to the conclusion that in fact this perfume isn't for me. The scent last up to 3 to 4 hours on my clothes. I'm more into light scent or light fruity scents too. This is not for me. I give this a 60 out of 100. I think I have a family member who can give this a nice home.

I'm not good at explain scents I usually don't know what is what besides the obvious scents like orange peel, musk, lavender...no idea if those are in this but that's how little I know. To me when I smell this I think of a professional badass woman who wears a lot of leather and eats boys for a living! She's authority, she's elegant and fierce. To me it's a scent for a certain setting and certain outfit instead of every mundane day to day. I guess it could be worn day to day but when I smell this my alterago comes out in full. I definitely recommend but I always recommend getting samples before the full size because some fragrances just aren't for everyone.

This is my 2nd favorite Armani Code Flanker next to Armani Code Satin. This is a sensuelle (not sexy like Satin), sophisticated, deep , warm version of the original Armani Code. It has some very interesting notes that makes this perfume very alluring and unique. It opens with powdery florals like jasmine and orange blossom followed by the creaminess and nuttiness from the almond milk and heliotrope; and at the base notes you get that warmth and richness from the leather notes, suede and a tiny bit of a incense. There happens to be patchouli and iris which I don’t seem to get at all. Performance wise it is far better than the original and has a very good projection and sillage. A great 24/7 fragrance option

This is a very pleasant unoffensive perfume. Everyone may not love it but I think few people will hate it if that makes sense. Its light and clean but still warm and a bit sensual. It's cleaner and fresher in the opening and then dries down a bit warmer and spicier. It is long lasting, has good projection (in a gentle way), and is equally as suitable for day or night. It has enough warmth and depth for fall and winter but is also light enough for spring and summer. I can easily see this being a signature fragrance worn year round. I will definitely be reaching for this one regularly. While it is not my all time favorite fragrance, I do really like it and highly recommend it.

Formula has changed

I used to wear this a lot, for about 15 years.However since my previous bottle bought recently, the formula has clearly changed. The fragrance does not last anymore, it's not just my skin. You can't smell it lingering on your clothes anymore.They've clearly watered it down, I'm not buying another bottle and will try to find a new favourite.

Nice parfum for summer

I can recommend Armani Code for fresh summer days. I had tried first time at the airport and it had felt beautiful. I bought it from Douglas and it feels a bit different then the first try. Maybe different production lines? I do not know. But it is a nice parfum anyways.

Recommend

I remember when I first smelt this perfume. It was exactly what I was looking for. It wasn’t too sweet, which is something I strongly wanted to avoid, nor was it too bold. It has a hint of vanilla which can either be right for you or make you smell like your grandma. In this case it was a mature smell without being outdated. The only thing I would say about this is that it doesn’t last as long as I thought it would so maybe something could be added to extend the life of daily use.

long lasting + compliment getter
