So I started using it at night to remove make and of course moisturize before bed, the smell is beautiful and refreshing. So glad I bought this moisturiser despite its price. It glides onto the skin effortlessly and adds an instant feel of luxury (for me anyway!). I'm certain my skin has already benefited from it. There is definitely an illuminating glow in this cream. I'm not sure I even need foundation over the top, the cream works perfectly well on its own with just a bit of blusher. But that's my preference and I know others will do things differently! I'm resolved to keep using this luxury cream, it's not just a trial, it's for keeps!!
I decided to put the product through a difficult test - a full face of makeup with very pigmented blue eyeshadow and luxury double-wear foundation. I washed my face once but the makeup was still stubbornly hanging on, twice faired better results but I did cave and used micellar water on the third pass (that and I wanted to see what was left remaining on my face that I couldn't "see") The positives? I barely used much to fully lather my face so if you aren't a heavy makeup wearer this cleanser will last you a long time. The negatives? Most certainly will need at least two washes if you are wearing any eye makeup, in my opinion, because each time I was giving my face a good scrub. The final verdict? At first I thought this is a moisturizer (as it's called cleansing moisturizer) and I was wrong! It's actually a very moisturizing cleanser. It's very light and foamy. The best part is that it leaves your skin really nice and soft. It doesn't dry up the skin or makes your skin feel tight I can actually go out without any moisturizer on top. I keep replenishing my supply of this cream because I love how it smells - subtle but very fresh and lovely, but especially because it makes my skin look bad feel wonderful. Lines and creases soften, my skin looks healthy. This might be my favorite GA product. No, that would be Acqua Pantelleria - but this is next.
I have tried other high end brand cleansers to wash off my make up in the shower and I always get irritation. I never thought of buying GA skin care as GA is mainly focused on fashion, though I thought I’d give it a go. Since this cleanser has a moisturiser built in, I feel like it’s more on the creamy milky side then alcohol side. So I’m safe to say I’ll be sticking to this cleanser. My face feels soft and moistened after the shower. After cleansing, I use the CREMA NERA NEOCREAM. I have to say this moisturiser is so good. This cleanser is so soft and silky on your skin. I am dealing with very dry skin. I live in a cold climate and it is rough on my skin. This cleanser is like silk when using. My skin comes out clean, soft and clean after using! It's not harsh and the scent is mild and nice. My dry skin is loving this cleanser.
