Giorgio Armani Si by Giorgio Armani for Women - 1.7 oz EDP Spray

REVIEW For Armani Sí This perfume is something I think would appeal to everyone. Key notes are: rose and woody vanilla. It's described as a fruity floral fragrance. It's got nice projection without being overwhelming. It starts off smelling like a gentle floral with a slight sweetness to it. It dies down to a clean, soapy type of clean smell that's a bit sweet yet a little floral as well. It has notes of blackcurrant nectar, mandarin, then orange blossom. I love the fact that it doesn't dry down to just a plain vanilla sweet smell. This is extremely long lasting. I sprayed it on in the morning and could still smell it on myself the next day. I love this scent. I reccomend this to anyone of all ages. Very beautiful fragrance with long lasting smell.

This has become one of my favorites and rightfully so. I tried this in store at Sephora a few years back and was amazed at how long it lasted. It stayed on through your the day and I could even smell it on my wrists the next morning. I went back the next day and picked it up and have purchased a couple more bottles since. This has the perfect blend of spice and floral undertones that make it the perfect summer/daytime scent. It lasts all day long and I have always gotten compliments after using it. It’s not too intense but a rather light scent. If you’re in the marked for a new parfum, I would give this a try.

Warm Amber, patchouli, freesia and rose, and black currant. It’s super chic. I love to wear it on the fall/winter months and something more fresh and clean in the warmer weather but this is one that will forever be in my collection. I got two bottles last year and still have a whole one left, it’s stays on my skin and remains present for 8 hrs ish at a good level. Then starts to soften up afterwards but remains as a soft scent for the next 4-10 hours after that. It stays on my clothes for days! Hair too! This fragrance is one that gives a warm welcoming classy woman type of fragrance. I hate rose but the rose in this is accompanied by so many other wonderful scents that it doesn’t turn me completely away from the fragrance. This is the scent that really got me into fragrances. I tested it at an airport duty free shop and I was hooked. I've tested it many times and I finally received a bottle for Christmas. I used to mostly get sweet blonde woods and ambroxan (which I loved) but there's so much more here. There is definitely a fruitiness that makes me suspect black currant and not just cassis, the rose is sweet, what I imagine when people describe a "jammy" rose. I'm noticing it is quite similar to Diptique's Baies candle but sweeter, especially immediately after spraying to the drydown. The patchouli is mellow, probably because of the woods and ambroxan. My dad, who gifted me this but had never sampled it, ended up really liking it and sprayed it on himself after I opened it. He usually wears PR One Million, PR Invictus, and in the past Versace Eros.

(I didn't; common sense compelled me to request a sample vial instead.) Sì Intense's initial cassis note reminded me of Calvin Klein Euphoria (which I still love) and the successive notes of plush rose and creamy vanilla brought to mind Bond no. West Side 9 (ditto). Is it a "modern chypre," as its promotional copy tells us? No, it really isn't; I'd describe it as more of a "fleurmand," with its floral and sweet notes. It's sweeter than you might expect for the Armani brand or for Cate Blanchett (the "face" of Sì). It's also fairly linear, getting slightly woodier after an hour but never changing too much. However, I found its longevity very disappointing for any Eau de Parfum, let alone one that claims to be, well, intense. Basically, I'm glad that I didn't give in to my initial impulse to buy Sì Intense on the spot; it's briefly very enjoyable, but I'm at a point in my perfume life where I demand more from my fragrances. If it lasted a long time on my skin, or if it were half the price, I'd say "yes." I always restock it when I run out and managed to get my mother onto it also. The scent lasts for about 10-12 hours. I obviously cannot smell it on myself after the first hour because I become immune to it but I know it lasts as at the end of the night when putting my clothes in the laundry I get a whiff of it. It smells elegant, classy and mature. When I say mature I do not mean elderly, I mean classic, adult, boss woman, prime of her life type if mature. I can't describe the best other than feminine woody/musky with deep floral notes and a touch of fruit notes to insure its not too woody or musky and just feminine. Its intoxicating and exceptional characteristics develop elegantly on my skin, accentuating the natural chemistry and exuding confidence. This fragrance is simply outstanding and easily one of my favorites.

This is the Si intense 2921. This is definitely a Chypre perfume. Dark and sultry, yet not so much that you can't wear it in the daytime, I had literally tried everything in the store before breaking down and trying this one - Love at first sniff. My new ridw-or-die, it's black current, ambery benzoin scent with middle rose notes somehow come together with Davana in the middle notes and benzoin and vanilla in the bottom notes to somehow creat a very sophisticated, compleat, wealthy smelling perfume. It is intoxicating. Because of the sweetness, I would say this is not a good blind buy. My #1 favorite perfume of all time!

Not the same scent or lasting as my tiny bottle

Compliments? No, no one can tell it's on me. Long-Lasting? See below Good value? It certainly doesn't meet my expectations. I'd previously purchased the travel version of Si and loved it. It lasted the whole day even until I went to bed. First, this larger bottle doesn't have the same fragrance as the tiny bottle and Second, when I put it on in the morning it doesn't last to breakfast. I don't believe this is a fake but it surely isn't the same as that tiny bottle I purchased a few years ago and so disappointed I invested in a 3.4 ounce.

I fell in love when my mom received it as a gift from a family member. I thought finding it on EBay would be the real deal. Once I got it and sprayed it, the smell was off! It was very citrusy and alcoholic. The original scent is more warmer, sweeter and slightly dense. This was a knockoff version that poorly try to imitate the original Si. I bought the original version and seen the difference just in the packaging. The color of the juice is also different. Fake is the darker peach box with yellowish juice Real is the lighter shade box with pinkish juice
