An emotional roller coaster.

I REALLY REALLY enjoyed this book. Like it says in the title, it was an emotional roller coaster. So many serious issues throughout the book, but just all the emotions and the events that happen throughout this book really make you feel such empathy for Charlie. This book has stuck with me months after reading it and it is definitely one of my most favourite books I've ever bought. And not to mention THE AUTHORS NOTE AT THE BACK OF THE BOOK!! God, it made me break into tears. A lot of the characters throughout this book gives me such mixed emotions, and I'm pretty sure they're supposed to. Definitely not the book for people who are sensitive or have triggers, but this book was great.

I feel as though this book should have a trigger warning! I probably should've assumed what it was about by the front cover but I didn't realise what they were until I started reading.

Opens your eyes.

This is a very heart aching, gut wrenching book but in all the best ways possible. I feel this story really opens people's eyes to what it's like the struggle with mental illnesses and other hard core issues. I won't lie though, I didn't like the ending but that's just because I wished it ended differently but it was definitely the healthiest way to end for the protagonist.

Perspective

I throughly enjoyed this book for the fact it takes a real and raw look into mental illness. It allows the reader to really understand that mental illness is a roller coaster that isn't fixed in a day and really is a long term battle.Its a book I recommend for many young adolescents that are struggling with coping and finding their way however, in saying that I can imagine the book would be quite triggering for some individuals as it does describe self harm and assault in graphic detail.All round though an amazing read that I wish I could of not read it to read again. Very beautifully written.

Sad but good

Lots of serious issues if u don't want to read about sh or suicide definitely not the book of you but helped me understand and grow it a heartbreaking book but I would recommend it to anyone how struggle
