Giro Agilis MIPS Matte Black Road Helmet

I buy one before. The adjustment seems to be short, too much on the limit for my big head! A little bit more ventilation it will be good, but for this price is what we get. the `front down`, just above your eyes, for me is a bit too much reflective, you note that on the road with the white road marks on the ground. My opinion generally is almost five stars in quality versus price, thank you!

I used the helmet on a 200 kilometer ride and the feedback is as follows:Fit:It is a very comfortable fit and sits snug on the head. There was no head ache or pains on account of wearing the helmet. Comfortable and protective

Unfortunately had the opportunity to test the sturdiness when I took a spill. Was riding roughly at 33km/h when I crashed on a paved road. My head hit the pavement relatively hard but aside from scuffs on the helmet and numerous scrapes on my body, all is fine. Helmet did not budge at all. This helmet is super comfortable and light. The best one I’ve owned.

Does the job when it counts the most

Great fit, comfortable, very easy to adjust. Most importantly, did it’s job. Hit a patch of ice, bike flipped at 15 mph, i flew off head first. Helmet performed perfectly, absorbed all the impact. I avoided major injury and didn’t even get a headache. Bought a replacement without even considering a different brand.

Giro Agilis: Protects, cools, and is affordable!

After I said goodbye to my 20 year old Bell helmet the other week, I shopped for a new helmet with MIPS feature, high visibility, and lots of scalp ventilation at a reasonable price. Enter the Giro Agilis MIPS helmet. I did the comparison of various comparable helmets on the REI site, and the Giro Agilis kept rising to the top. Great, everyday helmet!

I bought this helmet after the old hand-me-down I had cracked (I didn't get into an accident - I dropped it on the floor like and idiot). I had no idea how not secure my old helmet was until I got this new one. It sits firmly on my head, is adjustable, is snug without making my head feel like it's overheating. Giro seems to be a big name in helmets, and for a good reason. I also love the bright yellow color so cars can see me!

My wife teated mine and it passed

I purchased this earlier this year. Mine was white and i was stoked over how well it fit. Lite well vented but sturdy as well. Fit much better than my discount store helmet i had been rocking. My wife has an d hand me down she wears if and when she wears a helmet. Last week she went out with her sister and mentioned that she wore my helmet. She said it was ok but she ended up With a headache. I went to go out today and as i was getting ready I noticed the top of my helmet looked like it went under a low overpass and lost. I asked my wife what she did to it. She said she “bumped” into a low hanging branch. Based on the damage i am surprised she did not have more than a headache. I am glad she was wearing it but not excited to buy it again

Versatile and comfortable

I've enjoyed using this helmet for both road biking and mountain biking. My head measures 55cm circumference and the small size fits properly. The adjustments on the chin strap are particularly helpful to avoid ears being pinched under the straps. Build quality is excellent, I appreciate the MIPS safety features.

suggest you go in person to try it on

bought to replace my old Specialize brand, ride about 2000-2500 miles a seasion. Nice helmet, but suggest buying in person and trying it on. Ordered online and had to go in an exchange for another brand. For me the tightening band would rest on ears as the Giro band is straight and not curved like on other helmets, Also the back tightening mechanism has a plastic triangles on each side that point down and poked into the back of my head instead of a rounded shape around the tightening wheel. If it fits your head shape, decent helmet in the price range.

terrific helmet - fits as it should

this giro helmet fits my head as intended. large fits my large noggin without issues and is nice and light. this offers great ventilation, no more sweat soaked hlemets as the wind blows through so nicely. also the fit is great and the turn dial tightener works great. also there are some subtle reflective accents on the back. quick delivery and solid MIPS protection in a light and good looking helment.
