Giro Chrono Sport Bib Shorts Black - S

$70.00

(25 reviews)

Giro's designers were painstaking in their approach to the design and fit of the shorts. Once they were happy that the fit was right to cope with the demands of long-distance rides the Chrono sport was released. A comfortable and breathable Chamois that you can trust, breathable mesh straps for maximum comfort, 3 storage pockets, reflective logo and UPF 50+ in the main body combine to make a short that even the most experienced of riders will be happy to be wearing when putting the miles in. Renew Series Fabric Made with recycled yarn, products featuring in Giro’s Renew Series are helping to do their bit for the environment by reducing the amount of raw materials being used in production. Discarded fishing nets, ocean debris and other plastics are all used to achieve this, while still offering the UV protection, comfort and durability that you expect from the brand.

These are good quality bib nicks. These are my 3rd pair. Comfy for long 4hr rides. First set of black ones. My other 2 pair are the navy ones. Worth the try.

Almost Great

I wanted to love the bibs. They were affordable, comfortable and the fly feature was great. Unfortunately a seam on the left side of the crotch blew out after only 2 weeks. I had maybe 300 miles in them before the hole formed. Bummer! I guess that's what I get for buying $100 bibs...

Chamois too small

These bibs fit great everywhere except for the chamois. It's way too small and doesn't add any cushion. Can't ride more than 25 miles without extreme chaffing and discomfort. Really disappointed in this purchase.

Wore for a rode ride and fit perfect - no movement/no chaffing on a first time ride!

Great bib at a phenomenal price...
4 May 2020

The bib short is very well made and fits great. I rode a hard, hilly route as a test and the bib short was unnoticeable. From the leg grippers staying in place and not riding up, to the chamois having the right amount of padding and the overall material not contributing to any added fatigue that I am glad I purchased another.

High Quality, Well-Built.

Good, comfortable, well-built pair of bib shorts. The fit was true to size and they're good for rides of 2+ hours.

Nice bibs. Giro includes a 60 day trial in case they don't feel good.

Premium product but too long for my legs
10 May 2020

The shorts material have a premium feel and the chamois is high quality. There is reflective material and the overall look was great with no weird body bulges or bumps. The only issue I had was the shorts were too long and the compression leg bands were too loose because they overlapped my knee. This may be because I went one size too big but I'm not sure. I'm a 34" waist, 5'10" height with a 30" inseam and ordered a XXL. It felt a little loose around the waist but good just the legs were longer than I would have liked. I had to return them because of the leg length.

The bib liners you are probably looking for
12 August 2020

Switched to bibs for both road and mountain a long time ago, just way more comfortable. I had been using the Pearl Izumi bib liners but found the chamois seriously lacking for longer rides, my road bibs are vastly better. I found these and decided to try something new based on reviews. Much better quality and chamois, it's thicker and more contoured, plus it's cheaper. Have done 4+ hour rides without issue. It also isn't completely mesh like the P.I. bibs, the front and rear are lycra. Why is this important? Well, if you change after a ride like I do you can drop your baggies first without showing everyone what a hotdog stuck in a fishnet looks like. Eww. For reference I'm 6'1" with a 31/32" waist and medium fits great, true to size coming from P.I. Going to order ... MoreSwitched to bibs for both road and mountain a long time ago, just way more comfortable. Giro if you read this, I'd be willing to pay $120 for even further nicer chamois and a zippered pocket for my cell phone and/or keys.

good fit, good va

It's always tricky ordering cycling clothing online.I cannot easily tell the quality and sometimes sizing is difficult. But these Giro shorts are excellent. comfortable.for the record I am pretty slim: Height 185cm; weight 77kg and the Large size fits me well. (I think Medium would have been too small)I also like that BikeInn ships via the post office, which in Canada generally arrives without extra duties, taxes or customs brokerage fees.
