Super comfy! Super Stylish! you can wear them with jeans or Dickies and a flannel and go have dinner with your lady or some cut-offs, cycling short liners, tube socks, and your favorite punk rock t-shirt and go shred your local trail. You can even take them to church, if that's what you're into. The vibram sole clings to everything. I've worn these while riding bmx plastic pedals and they STICK BRO! Like if I was riding metal pins. The fit is pretty much the same as DVS or Globes with out the excess padding. I bought mine half a size bigger because that's what I do. And if you ever find yourself in the mountains on side ofa icy road putting on chains while wearing these shoes, just know that your feet will stay warm and dry and sure footed thanks to that Vibram ... MoreSuper comfy! Appears to be quality MTB shoe with Vibram sole. Firm sole but not too firm for walking. Very grippy on peddles and leather like construction keeping feet warm on cold rides while also providing ventilation with lots of small holes. Laces far too long, but otherwise very happy with purchase.

Super comfy and supportive with lots of grip! I love giro MTB flat pedal shoes. For me they are comparable to five tens and specialized in terms of durability and comfort. Their sizes are spot on as well. I usually wear a size 8 and a 41 fits great, not too loose it tight.

These shoes are great, not the best, but pretty darn close. The sole of the shoe is pretty firm and comfortable while pedaling. I have noticed though that the rubber on the sole does not seem to be as tacky as the 5.10, but you still get great grip while pedaling up hill and in rocky downhill sections. I do enjoy having such a firm toe on the shoe. I feel it gives better protection while riding and hiking your bike up rocky terrain. I'm currently using these shoes as my All Mountain/Enduro riding shoe. All in all I would highly recommend this shoe to a friend! And for the price you really can't go wrong.
I admit I clicked "order" with my eyes closed. First pair of flats for me and the reviews on these were mixed. I do a lot of hike a bike so I needed a pari of shoes that I could walk comfortably and with a grippy sole for when I hike with the bike on my shoulders. These shoes are just great. Very grippy on pedals (RF Chester) and on any terrain I walked over. They are also comfortable, I had no blisters, not even on the first hike. The toe box is roomy and very protective. They seem well built and should last a few seasons. The only reason for giving 4 star is the inner sole which is very thin and offers no arch support. I am used to change inner sole in all my shoes (high arch) but for someone who isn't these shoes may feel hard and uncomfortable. Definitely worth the $!!!
The Vibram sole on this shoe will tear up so fast it will blow your mind. The gum on the sole was 100% unusable within 400 miles or regular enduro riding. These were so bad I email Giro and they replaced them no questions asked.
I bought these prior to a mountain bike jump clinic. After an hour I had to take them off due to pain. Most uncomfortable mt bike shoe ever. Spend the onet and buy 510s.
This is a one year review.Purchased in July 2018, ridden about 100 miles probably, I'm not a super hardcore rider. The design and comfort of the uppers is great, nice and stylish, fits well, but they've only lasted about half a season. The lugs on the Vibram sole that are designed for the pins of flat pedals to sit within have just been totally chewed up and ripped off. Most of the grip comes from this design, so with out them the grip has suffered tremendously. Definitley won't be re-purchasing. Going to go with a 5.10 Stealth rubber, or something for more long-term durability next time.
Was not impressed with these shoes. Sole was weak and had no support. Peddles (Raceface Chester) tore up the bottoms. Feet were sore after 20+ miles of riding with 3000 feet of climbing. Had peddle slip in damp conditions. Love the look and they make a great casual sneaker. Used these to replace my Specialized 2FO and now I'm going back to the 2FO.
Shoes feels like a every day sneaker. Sole is soft and my Raceface Chester peddles tore up the bottoms. If the conditions are damp/wet the shoes slipped all around. After 20 miles of riding with 3000 feet of climbing my feet would be sore. I my old shoes were Specialized 2FO, those were stiff and had support. Love the shoes look but stopped using them to ride in.
