Giro Latch MTB Shoes - 47 - Black SPK

(42 reviews)

Created to give you the best connection, the Latch mountain bike shoe is a benchmark in flat-pedal performance, especially when the trail gets fast and rowdy. For the Latch mountain bike shoe, Giro started with a new fit that brings the foot closer to the pedal and flattens the sole profile, optimizing the contact patch between sole and pedal. Then they collaborated with a team of rubber engineers to formulate Tack Rubber, a highly elastic compound that matches grip with durability in the new Gamma tread design. And at the heart of the shoe is a revelation in performance called Mute Foam, a midsole foam that's specially engineered with a slow-rebound action that cuts chatter and vibration to help keep you connected to the pedal, regardless of ruts, roots, and rocks. The unique combination of fit, a fast-drying microfiber upper, the grip of Tack Rubber, and the damping of Mute Foam makes Latch a new benchmark in flat-pedal performance.

I have a b-width foot and these fit well. The soles seem stiffer than my 5.10 bike shoes, which is a good thing.

Good shoe for narrow feet

Finally found a shoe that fits narrow feet better than anything else i have tried, still looking for something as narrow as some of my climbing shoes but these will stay on my feet till I find something that truly fits an A width

Great enduro shoe
16 February 2024

Needed new shoes, read the reviews online and they suggested these are a great enduro shoe with plenty of grip. Pleased to find my favourite local store stocked them! Not disappointed, super comfy, firm sole and super grippy. If I lost these shoes today I’d be in for a new pair of the same tomorrow.

Great shoe, great price
2 May 2024

I was looking for a flat pedal shoe that looked good and would be able to walk around shopping if needed. I have Giro spd shoe that has fit and performed excellent and these do too. Backcountry had a great price and its website and delivery were fast and efficient. Giro + Backcountry = Great Pair!

Non-Bulky Tacky Kicks
26 October 2023

I hate bulky bike shoes and have struggled to find pair until I bought these! I still have pedal feel and grip without feeling like I am biking in street shoes. Added bonus you can wear them around the city if you drive away the trail head leaving your sandals there ...

Not that grippy
6 November 2023

Don't be fooled by other reviews, these by no way are as grippy as 5 ten shoes. comfortable but pay the extra and get 5 ten freerider pros

Run small. I would probably size up.

Toe box was tight and narrow. I don't have unusually wide feet. Suggest ordering a larger size.
