This helmet has been crafted to handle the impacts, knocks, and shocks, associated with park, pipe and street riding. The Multi Directional Impact Protection System, MIPS for short, comprised of two liners which are attached by an elastic layer. The MIPS technology allows the liners to rotate independently of each other when subjected to an angled force, this reduces the forces on the head, and in turn, reduces the potential for injury for ultimate protection.The Hard Shell construction makes the helmet extremely durable due to the tough ABS plastic to absorb heavy impacts while optimized for style and ventilation. The Ledge MIPS features a self adjusting Auto Loc 2 fit system which utilizes a supple elasticated fit band with fixed position straps to optimally cradle your head once the position has been set to one of three circumference settings. If that wasnt enough the Ledge fitted with an impact absorbing and lightweight EPS foam linerThe Super-Cool vents keep you fresh all day by being optimally positioned to pull hot air out and draw cool air in and the Stack vent aligns with the top of your goggles to draw warm moist air away and avoid goggle fog. This helmet seamlessly compatible with all Giro goggles with a removable goggle retainer for a more streamlined look if you prefer.
