Very comfortable and visible. The only problem is that it's sometimes hard to keep the chin strap as tight as I'd like. The chin strap is pretty soft though, and it doesn't rub like some other helmets I've had. I had this one for a couple years then several weeks ago I crashed while biking about 20 mph and hit my head pretty hard on the pavement, but the helmet protected me! It was scraped and a bit dented, but it did its job, so I bought another one that day to replace it. The yellow isn't necessarily reflective, but it is very high visibility.

My head circumference is right at the upper limit of what the regular-sized helmet is stated to fit (61 cm circumference). This fact would have made me get the XL helmet instead, but I wanted to get the helmet in neon green for some extra visibility, and unfortunately they only make the XL helmets in white or black. However, since I am technically within the range of sizes the regular sized helmet is meant to fit, I figured it would probably be fine.Unfortunately, despite my head circumference being within the regular-sized helmet's stated range, it doesn't fit very well - even at its loosest setting, it's tight to put on and fits poorly. In particular, I need to wear it really far back on my head so that it doesn't squeeze the hell out of my head. In particular, I need to wear it really far back on my head so that it doesn't squeeze the hell out of my head. Unfortunately, this means I wear it so far back that the detachable visor doesn't block any sunlight at all.Aside from that, the helmet is pretty breathable, or at least it's way more breathable than the helmet I had as a kid. And if I could actually wear the helmet in the proper position without strangling my head, the visor would block sunlight that comes from a high angle. It's just that it's too tight to wear properly, despite the fact that they say it should fit me. Therefore, 3 out of 5 - they shouldn't say that it fits a head circumference of 61 cm, because it doesn't.I'm going to see if I can return the helmet or exchange it for an XL, because it is a good helmet aside from the fit.

This is both my first Giro brand helmet and my first MIPS technology helmet.I like how Giro has the side straps set already so that's two less buckles to adjust and loosen on their own. Coming from Bell helmets I had to get used to adjusting the straps by pulling to center them each wear no biggie for better comfort. Speaking of comfort the dial to tighten in the back is much better than Bell helmets. The MIPS technology allows the helmet to move slightly while staying right to your head to reduce injury in a collision. As a former racer, courier, and bicycle commuter I can feel how that would help. I hope I never need itOverall the best helmet I've ever owned.

I have just bought the Giro Bronte helmet and I am very impressed. I have a large head and finding a helmet that fits me, looks good and is comfortable is difficult. I discovered this helmet online and, since the price was very competitive, I purchased it. It fits like a glove, looks great and is exactly what I was looking for. I very strongly recommend this particular helmet and Tredz - for excellent customer service and support.
Sizing was a bit tricky. I measured my head as 61.5cm which should have put me in the middle of large. When I received that helmet it was too big. I then ordered a medium and it's okay but a bit small, not enough range to accommodate a tuque. I'm keeping it and hopefully it will work out.
The helmet fits very well - snug yet comfortable. I usually forget that I'm even wearing a helmet as it is light and comfortable. I'd normally take a 54-55 cm size and this one is a universal fit. The chin strap is only adjustable under the chin - not at the sides. At first I was concerned that the strap was too close to my neck and would be uncomfortable but I find it is fine, especially when cycling. This helmet is one of the top rated cycle helmets by Consumer Reports.
I opted to buy this helmet after other Giro designated for women helmet was too small for my head. When researching who may carry Giro Register MIPS bike helmet I stumbled on Movatik. I had no prior experience with them but decided to try since they were offering attractive prices. I couldn't be happier! Ordering was easy. Shipment arrived very quickly! Packaging was great and nothing got damaged. This helmet is very light, has great ventilation, fits well and can be easily adjusted for optimal fit. I also has MIPS system which is difficult to get in this price range. Overall, very happy with the product and shopping experience. Thank you, Movatik!
My review would be..... not bad. Very Comfortable and fits nicely. I have a larger head, but had no problems fitting in the helmet comfortably with just 2 clicks to the adjustment band. It doesn't dig in anywhere or sit uneven. I haven't experienced any strange wear on my skin or had the helmet slip. I can't speak to crashing in it, as thankfully I haven't done that. I was going to go with a cheaper model, but I really wanted the Giro name and MIPS....I mean you only have one head. I am only 20 miles in on it, so I can't speak to its reliability. It is a littleheavier and bulkier then the much more expensive helmets, but if your in this price range, its not anything you will notice or care about. My advice, buy it, you won't be disappointed. This was the first purchase I have ever made with MOVATIK and I have been very satisfied with the shipping and service to date.P.S. The red matches my TREK Equinox 9 nicely
I lost my balance in the driveway and fell over with the bike on top of me. Scared me enough to think I should really be wearing a helmet! Found taht Consumer Reports had a pretty recent article that indicated the Giro Register with MIPS was one of the top 3. Movatik had them on sale and I did not find them cheaper elsewhere, so made my very first order with this company. Within a few clicks I had 3 ordered for the family, and within hours had a tracking email from Movatik. The very next day, the box is on my porch!!! Very neat box with earth friendly packaging (that my cats absolutely are loving with the crunchy packing paper inside)! My teen with his huge melon and me with my petite frame, all found the fit to be spot on with easy adjusting on the back side turn knob. I have zero complaints and all compliments. The order was easy, accurate, and way faster then I anticipated for free shipping. All communication was excellent as well. Glad to have found a new spot to order bike needs! Now to hunt down some kayak/SUP stuff!
Great Helmet! Has the perfect fit and is lightweight and comfortable. I had no problems whatsoever. My other helmets were either too small or too narrow or I had chin strap problems or with the rear head piece. The helmet couldn't have been more perfect.
