Fit is perfect price is very reasonable for the bicycling shorts. The padding could be sewn in more comfortably, but overall I'm happy and will purchase another pair
I have a pair of giro mtb liners that I love from 2 years ago. I bought these hoping they’d be similar, but they’re baggy, with almost no stretch, and the pad between the legs is about 2 inches too wide and it jabs into your inner thighs. The legs ride up like crazy, and there is way too much room in the seat. The fabric is lightweight but bad quality.
The shorts material have a premium feel and the chamois is high quality. There is reflective material and the overall look was great with no weird body bulges or bumps. The only issue I had was the shorts were too long and the compression leg bands were too loose because they overlapped my knee. This may be because I went one size too big but I'm not sure. I'm a 34" waist, 5'10" height with a 30" inseam and ordered a XXL. It felt a little loose around the waist but good just the legs were longer than I would have liked. I had to return them because of the leg length.
I ordered my normal size in these and they were tiny. Definitely seems like European sizing. Overall I did not like the feel or feel of these shorts. I have friends that love them, but they did not work for me.
Sized a little big—order a six down if you’re debating between two. The padding is very thick and it’s a little awkward to move in, but it’s good padding. Maybe a little bit small surface area wise. Overall, solid bike shorts, though.
It's always tricky ordering cycling clothing online.I cannot easily tell the quality and sometimes sizing is difficult.But these Giro shorts are excellent. comfortable.for the record I am pretty slim: Height 185cm; weight 77kg and the Large size fits me well. (I think Medium would have been too small)I also like that BikeInn ships via the post office, which in Canada generally arrives without extra duties, taxes or customs brokerage fees.
These fit me nicely when properly adjusted. These are like 'compression' shorts and feel snug at first but I feel the fabric stretches comfortably to my shape in about 5min. The padding seems firm at first but after a few miles seems to have softened a bit. and the padding is thin so does not feel like diaper. These could be my favorite bike shorts . (I have a 36in waist and XL is perf)
