I'm new to mountain biking and have only worn these once so far but I found them to be comfortable and stable. The grip on the peddles seemed really strong. I definitely had to sit for a sec to be able to reposition my foot. No sliding around. I have a lot of room in the toe box but am able to tighten the laces so everything is secure.
I had been eyeing up these shoes for months since the colors match my bike and I love the look of this shoe. I finally bit the bullet and ordered a pair and am so glad I did! They fit perfectly, look great, and feel very sturdy and supportive on the bike. I am a women's size 8 and ordered the EU size 40 (which translates to 8.5) and they are a perfect fit.
Brand new to Mountain Biking (I've been road riding for a long time...) and I always assumed that I'd absolutely HAVE to go clip-less on the Mountain Bike as well. I was so excited to find out that that wasn't the case. These shoes are freaking awesome! I used to wear skate shoes all the time growing up and these totally bring me back. And they aren't lying when they say that they stick to the pedals! BUY THESE SHOES! You won't be disappointed. Super comfy and can handle my total clumsiness. :)
I was hoping these would fit and be comfortable. I read the reviews and ordered my actual size walking shoes (8.5) they are too short and narrow at toes. These shoes are also very heavy compared to my 510's. My 510's are causing toe numbness so I thought I would try these and right out of the box I would say you need to size up from your regular running/walking shoes.
I got these for my wife and she really likes them. She has had many pairs of fivetens in the past but seems to like these just as much and they are different than ever other biker on the trail. Would recommend.
A little too clunky for me. Feels very inflexible and prevents me from feeling the pedal at all.
