Giselle Bedding Bonita Euro Top Bonnell Spring Mattress 21cm Thick - Queen

This mattress is really uncomfortable. Such a disappointing purchase. Luckily it is currently a spare bed because I couldn't sleep on it on a daily basis. On the three occasions I've had to sleep on it, I woke up every time I needed to move - probably 15 times during the night. You can feel the springs. So far three people have slept on it and all said it was uncomfortable. I bought another mattress from this same website (different brand) for my son's bed and it is really good. I will need to replace this one before my daughter is old enough to move to the double bed and sleep on it permanently (which was the longer term plan for this mattress).

Don't buy this mattress. It is too thin for humans. 21cm is just not thick enough to not feel the springs. Unfortunately you will only find this out once you have opened the box and tried it out. At this point they will not come back and take it away as it has been used and it is not in it's original packaging. Did I mention it comes vacuumed sealed in a box and it is physically impossible to return it to it's original packaging ?

I was beyond excited for my daughter to get her first mattress for her first big bed. A friend of mine had recommended the Giselle bedding from my deal. I was a little hesitant with not having tried it but I did a lot of research of features, reviews etc.I have to say I am beyond disappointed with this mattress and would not by from here again. It’s nothing like explained or the reviews written in it. I know it was a cheaper mattress, but it literally bends and folds in half when I lift it to tuck the sheets under. You constantly hear the springs popping every time you move, and it is in no way comfortable, even with the “topper”. I would not recommend this product at all. Very disappointed amd unhappy

I am so incredibly disappointed in the quality of this product and wouldn't absolutely not recommend this to anyone, ever. It seemed from the marketing that this was quite a good mattress, wrapped in luxurious material... there is material wrapped around the base, but there is no side edge support, so if you put your hand near the material where the springs are you, can can actually hold the entire spring in your hand, there is also no side support, so if an adult sits on the bed, the entire side collapses on to the bottom level of the mattress. I am lucky only I brought this for my 27kg 7yo because that is about the total of the weight it can manage. When my eldest shares the bed with her, only another 37kgs if they get too close to the edge they almost roll off. Giselle Bedding did not disappoint once again. Proven quality in the springs, foams, and the sewn outer fabric. Its firmness assured a good sleep every night and the springs were not that bouncy when you turn your body sideways. The size of the mattress is accurate and 21 cm is not too low nor too high when place in the bed frame. Outer fabric color and stitch design made the mattress look stylish even without the bedsheet!

Great Mattress

Brought for the extra single beds for my grandchildren, the mattress is a good quality and very comfortable with a plush feel. Delivery of the items was excellent - arriving rolled up in the box that was heavy but easy to manage. A tool was even provided to cut the plastic that protected the mattress, as the instructions advised not to use scissors as they could damage or cut the mattress! They thought of everything! Well done - a great purchase.

Great buy!!

We didn't want to spend too much on a mattress and this included delivery which I thought was a bargain. It came within a week. It's for my 7yo daughters bed, she has enjoyed every sleep since getting it. You cant feel springs and it doesn't need a topper. Super happy customer.

Not very solid

The shipping was quick and it was a good price but I would not recommend this mattress. The edges are too weak that as soon as any weight is put onto it the mattress basically disappears, it makes it difficult to tie shoes or just sit on the edge of the bed for any reason which many people do. I followed the unboxing instructions and its been a week since I unboxed it and it still feels like it hasn’t fully expanded. Some parts of the mattress feel good and solid and random spots feel weak and decompress way too much. Kinda wish I kept my old mattress as this one is just terrible. Not what I was hoping for.

Pillow top is very plush but the mattress is very springy and not very firm - you sink down into the springs quite a lot and with any slight movement you get sprung back out again. Rolled mattresses seem to have this problem. It is fine for my 4yr old but and older children or adults bounce around on it excessively. Putting an MDF board under the mattress in replacement of the wooden slats seem to help - but then of course you don’t have the air circulating.

Too soft

I wanted to have a softer mattress for my own bedroom but this is just too soft. Almost felt like a water bed. The top foam is too thin, you can feel the spring on your back especially if you are a bit heavy. Regretting buying this. If only returns were easy, I would return it.
