Giselle Bedding Electric Throw Blanket - Chocolate

I bought one of these a few months back for my elderly mother & she loves it. And now I am currently living with a medical condition which at times, has one of my legs & foot very cold. I sit in a chair & wrap the heated blanket around my body & turn on the heat. Before long, the heat is a great relief & I haven't been able to find anything else that works as well (for me). I've tried using the heat bags (wheat bags) that are heated in the microwave, which do help a bit for a time, until they go cold. And you're not supposed to reheat them until they are cool again, then there are the safety issues that are associated with them. So if you are in a similar situation, then I recommend that you give the heated blanket a try. I'm pleased that I did.

This product is wonderful. You can adjust the temperature as well as how many hours you want it to stay on. The colour navy is vibrant and fits in well with my decor. I replaced my Jason heated throw with this Giselle and I couldn't be happier with it - looks and quality. It's so handy that it can stay on for up to nine hours as my Jason only stayed on for three hours. I can recommend this product.

Not great quality at all. The blanket itself is soft and cozy and it started out great but by the second or third use only small sections of it were actually heating up and now barely any of it heats up at all. It's been used about 6 times. Total waste of money.

This throw blanket turned out to be a trifle large for me proving a bit unwieldy to use when sitting as I wanted. Having said that though, it's warm, soft, smooth and comfortable and a pleasure to snuggle under while reading or watching TV. It would also be fine as a cover when laying down although that's not for me. The controls are easy to use and the wide range of temperature and time settings quite useful. Overall, I'm happy with the product.

My delivered electric lap blanket is not operating (does not switch on and subsequently does not heat).I had read the clear appended safety also the operational instructions several times, to no avail.The blanket does not switch on, and subsequently does not heat.I had carried out a verbal phone complaint on 03 6120 6131, requesting a replacement lap blanket or a purchase refund, on 09/05/2022.Please help.Order ID: 366559860Kind regardsJohn and Barbara Zadolinnyj.

So happy with this blanket. It came within a couple of days and its just perfect. Its a little different colour to what I thought but its still a nice colour. I live alone and don't need a heater on now so I'll be interested to see how my power bill has been affected..in a positive way. Its bigger than I expected, big enough for 2 people to sit under.

Fabulous and practical miserly cost !

Its just so practical keeps you warm and cozy love the colour and you can turn the house temp down when you are using gas/electric heating house heating. You can take it with you when you are visiting and people are miserly with their heating!!! (eg sister in laws house Brrrrr!)

Perfect Comfort

I use the electric throw rug on my bed, between the top sheet and doona, turn it on to HIGH while I use the bathroom before going to bed. In that short period of time, the mattress and top sheet are perfectly warm and so cosy. I then turn the Temp setting onto L (low) and have the most fantastic comfortable sleep. It truly is an excellent buy.It has surpassed my expectations. I'd give it a 10/10.

i purchased 2 of these blankets, one for me and one for my frail aged mother. I was recommended this type of blanket from the occupational therapist after my recent very lengthy stay in hospital. I used mine for a few days and then it stopped. Within 4 days, i had a sincere apology and a replacement blanket! This was much appreciated as this blanket is my only source of heating, in a very large building. Works beautifully. I don't even notice the cold. My mother says the same thing about hers- and she feels the cold badly. Mum's home runs on very old solar, so she is very mindful of how much power she draws from appliances. She worked out that these blankets are equivalent to running a 100watt light bulb.
