Glacio Camping 80L Portable Fridge Freezer Cooler Upright 12V/24V/240V Caravan

Needed to replace a 17 year old Waeco caravan fridge. Found this fridge could do the job at a fraction of new Waeco price. Converted the 12v plug to Waeco fitting and plugged straight in. So far works well on 12v house battery system. Option of 240v but will need to pull fridge forward to fit electrical plug, but that won't be necessary if house battery has 240v charger to power 12v system. So far performing well.

Ripper of a fridge. Uses very low power. Works well in hot humid weather.

This looks like a great fridge. Unfortunately I didn’t read the description properly as I needed a gas fridge. Hopefully the “change of mind” policy will kick in

Faulty Fridge

Purchased this fridge recently and was delivered last week. Plugged into 240v and also into 12v. Light comes on and compressor runs for 2 seconds then turns off. This fridge is OK if you don't want to keep anything cold, just the flies off your food. I had to give 1 star, as I couldn't give any less. I am interested to see how the refund / warranty process works. Also the logo on the front of the fridge was fixed on top of the removable plastic film on the door, so when I peeled the film off, the logo came off.

Great value, works well

Runs well on both 12v and 240, very pleased with it. Great price and very nice product

Im the ultimate tyre kicker and spent way too long reviewing every fridge ever made. Finally questioning our (campervan) needs, my wife insisted on an upright because by all accounts in the "others" you end up packing stuff ontop of stuff and its rubbish when you need the stuff squashed on the bottom, unless of course you're only carrying vital supplies like 40 cans of XXXX, 6 bottles of Bundy and 10L of Coke, like all the ads suggest. The fridge used for the first time, backed up by a 120ah Lithium battery is an absolute cracker! It does everything a good fridge is meant to do, as they say, "fit for purpose". It's a budget buy, but at a third of the price of others, it far exceeds expectations. I wouldn't recommend this fridge

It has some OK features but the main problems with this fridge is it's very loud and the motor compressor runs all most continuous with the thermostat set only on 4 out of 7. I wished I didn't purchase it. Geoff.

No mountings came scratched

It is supposed to be a caravan fridge yet there is nothing to mount it to the floor or cupboard, made it very difficult to keep in place. The sides came wrapped in protective plastic yet the door did not and had scratches all over it

Very cheaply made

We've had our 80L Glacio fridge for around a month now. It keeps things cold but very inconsistently. Things at the back freeze, the door leaks condensation and the rubber seal is already breaking away (which I am still waiting on a reply from the customer service team) all in all, it's cheap and you get what you pay for. In the future I would spend a bit more and have a fridge that is consistent and better quality.

I love this little fridge. I have it in my office and I get compliments all the time. It's really cute, but also serves it's purpose.
