Glaco Mirror Coat Zero Rain Repellent

Both products are working as my expectation even better, the only hassle was prepping the windscreen before application, need to make sure my windows clean from dirt and oil. Sorry no in action photos here, but you will very satisfied. The only thing that I'm not sure is how long it will last until next application for the DX. While for the Coat Zero make sure you not WIPE your side mirrors after application or when you wash your car. The coating will gone.

Works pretty amazing! Sprayed product on both side mirrors and a portion of the front windows. As from the video you can see, no rain drops on the mirrors themselves and also the windows. \n\nEven during torrential rain on highway just before video was taken, mirrors and the sprayed parts of windows stayed totally rain drop free, allowing super clear vision. Especially great for night time! \n\nSo far has lasted through 2 light showers and 1 heavy downpour when video was taken. About 1.5 weeks so far?\n\nHave also bought the windshield product now, waiting for arrival.

I would say if you don't wash the car then it's a great method for your side mirror, but once you wash the car and wash the side mirror, the coating will wash off and later on your mirror is blurred. I put the coating on for at least overnight and the next day I washed the mirror, the coating straight no more.Once you apply the coating, you cannot touch or wipe the coating at all even after more than a day. And it makes your mirror foggy

Extremely hydrophobic

Initial impressions are extremely positive. Really easy to apply and so far has repelled water on wing mirrors really effectively. Doesn’t seem to work quite as effectively on rear view camera and shows halo flare from lights especially at night.Cannot comment on the longevity of the product as only applied 2 weeks ago.

Really good water repellant coating…

Really good water repellant coating and very easy to apply. Steps I took to apply the coating on my heated wing mirrors were:1. clean with a degreaser eg Surfex HD (spray on, agitate with a brush then rinse off and dry with micro fibre towel).2. clean with IPA (spray and wipe off).3. shake the can and then spray onto mirrror from left to right, starting from the top to about halfway down).4. leave to dry (don’t cover as it”ll evaporate as it cures) and don’t touch for about an hour or so then job DONE.I don’t whether it’s me or not but the mirrors dont seem to be attracting as much muck as they used to, and it seems to be working a treat. Soft 99 - Glaco Mirror Coat Zero

Amazing if applied correctly! Mirrors need to be absolutely spotless and oil free. A good glass cleaner and some IPA worked well for me, just make sure you've left no lint behind. In terms of performance, it won't let a single drop of water stick even in a rainstorm. Durability wise I've manged to get a whole month so far and the coating is still going strong. The only thing I would mention is that the coating is quite delicate to touch so even if you slightly scrape it with a microfiber it will get damaged and be less effective allowing small beads to form. Overall highly recommended as visibility is highly improved!
