This brand is hard to find any more. Because of that, some sites are charging $10.00 for a 180 count box. Glad I found these. I use them to make my own hamburger patties. This brand will hold 4 quarter pound patties. Then I seal them in a vacuum sealer bag. That way I can reuse the vacuum bags without worrying if there are any germs from the previous use.

These fold top bags are harder to find than they used to be! I was happy to find them at Staples for a good price! Zip lock bags don't work for everything. I like fold top baggies - they are easier to work with than zip lock for certain things. Secure with a twistie and your good!

I've never used fold top Glad sandwiche bags! And would never order them! Yet one box was shipped with what I did order. Amongst those were smashed box's, and a variety of quanties per box. I only ordered 5 boxes of 100ct boxes of Glad Fresh protect sandwich zipper bags. I didn't order any other size or quantu. 2 Boxes were smashed, & 3 others were various quantity's I did not order. Totally messed up! Love Glad so will still order again as Jet does have good prices & fast shipping.

This time around we're not using the bags for the kids but for myself to put my protein powder, nuts, fruits and so on that pertain to snacks and nutrition during my training to keep separated and contain. I also use it to put hair ties, bands and underwear in my swim bag so as these don't get lost and wet in my bag. They work pretty good and just use tiny braid rubberbands to secure them. They're durable and handy and easy to use. I say it has many uses besides storage for a sandwich. These sandwich bags are very good. I love these sandwich bags. They are far superior than any other fold-top bag I've tried. On other brands, the flap is too small and the fold is not wide enough to accommodate larger sandwiches. These bags have plenty of room to put in sandwiches made with wider bread slices. In addition, if you want to use this bag for a half sandwich, you can basically "wrap" the bag around the half sandwich so that it won't fall apart. The flap on other brands is too short and the fold too narrow to keep the bag closed properly.
I use a lot of sandwich bags because of my family especially my grandchildren. They always want a snack or something ha these bags come in handy for. I like these because of the way they close. I have use some that you needed to press close and if you didn't do that correct, the food or whatever would come right out. I use these for food and even let the kids use them to put rocks and dirt in, and they worked wonderfully. You would think that a bag that you had to turn over to close would not work well, but I like it better than the zip lock bags. I have trouble lining up the closure with the zip lock. I will continue to use the ones that I tested. I like them a lot.
