I haven't opened up this container (newer packaging) as I'm still on the previous version that I have had for the longest time, but they're still moist to this day, so I really do appreciate the quality. They are thick and I love the scent and my dog appreciates it when I wipe his butt too. It prevents him from scooting because sometimes the stuff gets crusty and he likes to keep feeling fresh and clean. Who would have thought but my groomer told me to start wiping and it helped so much. I really hope other reviewers aren't right that the quality has changed (smaller sized wipes and less thick), thus the four stars.

I like to keep some of these on hand, because as we all know life can be messy sometimes. I mainly use these about twice a week just to give both of my dogs a little freshening up back there and clean off anything that may have got left behind. Just a little cleanup in between their bi monthly baths. They are gentle on their very delicate area and do the job great! Plus they have a nice clean and refreshing smell.

I bought these wipes because my cat, FatFat, has difficulty getting to her rear to clean. When she does manage, she has been ripping out her fur. So now we have bare skin, poops, pee, bacteria, etc. And it STINKS! So I bought these wipes to help her out and while she hates the feeling of wet wipes on her butt, she doesn't fight me. After a week of use, I've noticed that her heinie looks better and it sure doesn't stink like before. I usually have to use two wipes, which I'm not thrilled about. Also, they don't tear off easily, which is also a pain, but could attest to their thickness.I'll buy them again, but I wish they were packaged more like the human butt wipes.
I first got these for a kitten who was not very good about cleaning herself or would step in her own poop. The wipes worked great until she got better at cleaning herself. I also use them for my older cat who is very good about cleaning herself but she has an extra fluffy butt and occasionally gets pee on herself, despite her sanitary trim. I find that the Glandex wipes are better than my usual Earthbath wipes for cleaning up urine and poop on cat fur. I don’t love the fragrance though and stick to the fragrance free Earthbath or just a moist washcloth for cleaning everywhere else. Glandex is only for backside cleaning.
I love these wipes they have a nice clean smell (not perfumey). My only issue is the packaging. I haven’t bought these in awhile and forgot why. They still haven’t fixed the plastic sticky tab to close the package and once the tab gets wet (which is pretty much from the first use) it stops becoming sticky and I now have a pretty much full package with dry wipes that I can’t use. I wish I had bought the other style packaging but went for the less expensive one.

Same great wipes, terrible packaging. So these wipes are wet, and they stick one to another. You pull one, and you pull a couple more right next to the top. The opening is too small, so the edges get wet. I suppose there is some sort of oil in those wipes, so once the edge of the opening is wet, the plastic closure stops sticking to the packaging. And that happened after a few wipes. So now I have close to 70-80 wipes, full package pretty much, and I can't tightly close this package. Same price, same number of wipes? Miracle of packing efficiency?NOPE. The wipes are now smaller. Reading the label on the old one 8 inches by 7.5 inches. New, smaller container? 6 inches by 9 inches (apparently they turn the numbers around to further confuse the consumer- so it's one inch bigger in one dimension and one and a half inches smaller in the other.)You'd think a half inch wouldn't matter? One of my cats is overweight (I’m working on it) so she can barely reach her hind end to clean herself. I’ve been using Tushie Wipes, that just don’t clean well on her fur after it’s dry. I wipe her every time she goes potty when I’m home and I see her go. But if I don’t clean it off immediately, it gets stuck on her fur and skin. The Tushie Wipes work fairly well if I catch it immediately. However, Vetnique Labs Glandex wipes work like a miracle. Using only one wipe, I was able to get all the poo off get fur and skin today without irritating her. And she is finally, 100% CLEAN!! Koobes wipes came today. The box was badly crushed on one end and looked like it was re-sealed. When I opened the box of the wipes cap was off and the cleanser was spilled out in the box. This is the 2nd time that this has happened. No fault of Chewy, I believe it is the handling by the packaging or shipping. The product is good, Koobe has been cleaned after every bowel movement for almost 3 yrs.
