Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Scotch Whisky 700m L The richly layered Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Scotch Whisky is a truly superb single malt aged in Oloroso (Sherry) and Bourbon casks. This has created an amazingly smooth, mellow, and full flavoured whisky. In 1886, with help from his nine children, William Grant set out to create the best dram in the valley. For 12 months they built his distillery by hand, stone by stone in the Glen of the Fiddich, Gaelic for land of the deer. Finally after a single year, it was ready. The first drop of golden spirit flowed on Christmas Day 1887. Over 120 years later that same whisky has become the world's most awarded single malt. Throughout that time Glenfiddich distillery remained devoutly family owned, with the fifth generation of the Grant family currently in charge, allowing them to explore new possibilities in making whisky.
